Finding the right balance between responsiveness and user-friendly controls is essential and it’s crucial for games like Ready, Steady, Ship! to have this this balanced effectively to ensure that players can fully appreciate and enjoy the game without being hindered by overly finicky controls. I enjoyed my time playing Ready, Steady Ship! and might revisit it at some point to collect more stars but as of right now I’m putting my hard hat down and ordering some food so I don’t have to leave my house.

The Mildew Children had a lot of potential, and the atmosphere, art, and plot of the game are all very well crafted, There are however some elements of that game that could have been done with some more thought and maybe some more work. Though, if you are a fan of this genre I would still say this game is worth a look, it doesn’t bring some interesting ideas to the table.

If you are someone who enjoys a story-rich gaming experience, Harold Halibut is an absolute gem that deserves a spot on your must-play list. Harold is an enchanting character who helps to bring the stories of the people of the FEDORA 1 to life. Harold’s journey is not just about unraveling the mysteries of the FEDORA 1 but also about self-discovery and personal growth. Slow Bros deserves to be recognized for Harold Halibut, they have poured so much into this game that even if you don’t usually enjoy these types of games or this game genre it is still worth giving it a try.

While Minishoot’ Adventures is a fun, casual game to play, unfortunately, it’s not a game that I can see making a big splash. It doesn’t have much replayability to it and I won’t find myself looking to play it again soon. The adventure was interesting as I was exploring and fighting my way through the game, but I forgot about it once I stopped playing the game.

Contra: Operation Galuga won’t disappoint Contra fans, but it also won’t give them something new. While the game was described as a sequel, it is honestly more of a remake with some added extras. I’m not saying it’s an entirely bad thing; as “remakes” go, it’s done well. The developers at WayForward have kept the parts of the game that are so loved and improved on them, basically bringing Contra to a new generation while keeping the older fans happy.

4 / 5.0 - Manic Mechanics
Mar 7, 2024

Manic Mechanics is incredibly fun. Even though it's not the most original game, it has very few issues to hold it back. I can see myself sitting on the couch and replaying levels or having my friends join in and experience the chaos together.

4.3 / 5.0 - Palworld
Jan 30, 2024

If you’re looking for a new style in survival games, or you enjoy monster hunter-type games, then Palworld will be worth your time and even if you’re completely new to the survival genre, Palword is a great place to start as it’s very noob friendly. Palworld’s success came as a bit of a surprise, but it deserves all the praise it is receiving at the moment, and if Pocket Pair follows through on their plans, then I see this game continuing to be extremely popular. As for me, well, I still need to go catch ‘em all and become a Pal master.
