Rise of the Tomb Raider presents the best Tomb Raider experience to-date, thanks to its epic story, landscapes, combat and characters.
Forza Horizon 3 delivers the ultimate car fantasy and festival experience, introduces innovative new features, and has listened to fans by returning some long missed ones. This is the Horizon game we’ve wanted, and developer Playground Games have delivered. Forza Horizon 3 is undoubtedly the ultimate celebration of cars, music, and freedom of the open road.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition showcases how a remaster should be done by redoing all the cinematics, campaign levels, multiplayer maps and adding a bunch of extra content- all in 1080p at either 30fps or 60fps. It also gives choice and flexibility to the players with the Backwards Compatibility titles, making this the ultimate package for fans and newcomers alike.
Halo 5: Guardians tells an epic story, across a vast, epic world and across these environments, players will face epic battles. From a divulging Campaign mode, to epic Multiplayer matches across Arena and Warzone, Halo 5: Guardians is truly the Halo game we've all been waiting for. While it isn't perfect, the experience is incredible.
Quantum Break is Remedy's most ambitious and immersive title yet.
Forza Motorsport 6 is the most beautiful, advanced and biggest game Turn 10 Studios have built to-date. Featuring 460 Forzavista cars with fully-detailed cockpits, 26 beautifully-created destinations and new ideas such as Stories of Motorsport, Leagues, Mods and more, Forza Motorsport 6 delivers on value to the player. There's hours of content here for the player to explore and people will fit into the Forza community in different ways.
Driven by an immense storyline, action-packed parkour scenes and gunplay, and beautiful worlds, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is one of the best experiences you can find on PlayStation 4 – a true masterpiece.
Street Fighter V is incredibly accessible, meaning that any player can hop on, get to grips with the controls, and have a great time. Competitive and casual players alike will find a home in Street Fighter V's diverse game modes and multiplayer matches. It's been a while coming, but Capcom's brilliant fighting series has finally returned.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate is a massive step-up from its predecessor last year. Featuring a vast London set during the Industrial Revolution that players can discover, with eccentric characters you want to learn about, and superb gameplay, Syndicate truly sets the bar for what this series is about.
Despite some flaws, Unravel is an injection of warmth and love, providing an incredible storybook adventure that's filled with wondrous memories that people can relate to.
There’s no underestimating the amount of effort The Coalition has put into Gears of War 4. The result is one of the best shooters you can get out there on Xbox One and PC. It’s personally my favourite cover-based third-person shooter that I’ve played, and despite some flaws, it’s an incredible package with a great campaign, competitive and social multiplayer modes, and an addictive Horde experience. There’s few shooters that I really enjoy my entire hands-on with, but Gears of War 4 is one of them. It’s an incredible experience all-around, and with the addition of new Gear Packs, collectable cards, and the promise of free post-launch maps, there’s a lot of reasons for fans to keep coming back.
Halo Wars 2 is an absolute blast. Whether you're engrossed into its fantastic storyline in the battle against Atriox, playing it like a classic RTS in the Deathmatch, Domination, or Stronghold game-types, or building your deck with the new and innovative Blitz mode, there's something for everyone. Halo Wars 2 is for both newbies to RTS and Halo games, as well as seasonal veterans. As for those who love both Halo and RTS, well they have an absolute treat awaiting them, as do new players alike.
Amazing new cars, the same great music you know and love, and the addition of snow, ice, and treacherous, wintery weather conditions. This is what Blizzard Mountain is as you race and compete in thrilling events to become its top driver and be eventually named ‘King.’ It's a fantastic add-on for an already great racing game, and when you're up there, you'll never want to leave.
Destiny: The Taken King makes the Destiny universe worth exploring and finally makes it a fun experience. The endless grinding and vague, confusing storylines are gone. Now we have a clear, understandable and enjoyable storyline with a streamlined levelling-up system.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 proves why Activision's three-year development cycle for Call of Duty is necessary. Black Ops 3 packs a huge amount of new content and feature innovations, along with keeping the core features that everyone knows and respects.
Despite some annoyances with the gameplay mechanics and overused mission objectives, The Division truly is an exciting and immersive role-playing experience.
Resident Evil Zero might have frustrating controls, clunky navigation, and the most punishing inventory system you can find. However, it's HD remaster makes the game look good and the updated controls, while still finicky, still provide an enjoyable gameplay experience.
Including thirty games, there's no denying the value in Rare Replay.
Far Cry Primal is without a doubt a step in the new direction for the franchise, telling a violent, but captivating story about the battle of the Wenja and Udam tribes. Despite some repetitive objectives, missions are action-packed and enjoyable, and taming beasts is easily my favourite feature found in Primal.
The NASCAR Expansion finally brings the thrills of stock car racing to Forza Motorsport 6. With an all-new ten-hour NASCAR World Tour Career Mode, diverse Showcase Events, 24 stock cars with 3 unique modes, and the new Homestead-Miami Speedway with the Formula Drift course, racing fans are spoiled for choice with this one.
