Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, for lack of a better description is a modern-day Castlevania game. It's typical Koji Igarashi gameplay at its finest and fans of his works will find everything here very familiar. Lots of stuff to do, enjoyable gameplay and a game that has more than enough to offer fans of the genre. The four-year wait was worth it.

Forza Horizon 4: LEGO Speed Champions is a nice change of pace and lets you explore a world of pure imagination. With plenty to do with several brickly block cars that will have you wondering why no one has done this before.

Fight'N Rage has positioned its self as one of the must-own games for the Nintendo Switch. Beating up people never felt so much fun, either alone or by bringing a friend or computer controller character. If you're a fan of arcade beat em ups, fast and frantic combat, and tight controls, then Fight'N Rage is for you.

Kunai is a cutesy Metroidvania title with lots of action, enjoyable gameplay and is a hell of a fun time. Sadly, the game ends way too soon, as I found myself lusting for more. A solid attempt by Turtleblaze and I'll be looking forward to their next project.

If the zany story started in Mortal Kombat 11 was the main course, then Aftermath is the dessert that makes the entire ordeal completely worthwhile. Not only do we get an epic conclusion, but also three new characters to play with and several amazing stages. Sure it may be a bit overpriced, but if there's one thing to be said here, it's that Netherrealm Studios really has mastered their craft, both with the storytelling and with crafting an enjoyable fighting title.

Panzer Paladin is a combination of games from the past that were the best of the best, with slight improvements tossed in for good measure. If you're a fan of the action-platformer genre, there's something here to enjoy, a casual or hardcore gamer. This is perhaps Tribute Games' best title to date and it shows. Amazing and fun gameplay, the level design is top-notch and the chiptunes were enjoyable.

It's still hard to believe that Mortal Shell is Cold Symmetry's first game, as this game rivals many AAA games. Everything in the game screams quality, from the gameplay to the art and sound direction. As a long time fan of Soulslike games, Mortal Shell has shot to the top of my favorite game lists and I can't wait to see what the devs do next. If you enjoy these sorts of games like I do, I recommend giving Mortal Shell a try.

Hotshot Racing is an enjoyable return to the simplistic arcade racer and a damned good one. It's just you, your car, and a mad dash from start to finish, jamming to some tunes while trying not to get smashed by your opponents. If you're a fan of arcade racers, give Hotshot Racing a try.

Gears 5: Hivebusters is just what the series needed; a short but enjoyable romp, new faces, and a new perspective. It's clear that The Coalition wanted this to be special and they succeeded. Hivebusters is a showcase for those playing on either the Xbox Series X|S or Window 10 and is a perfect example that less isn't always a bad thing.

I'm sure you're tired of me saying this, however, this port of Days Gone for the PC is easily one of the best ports I've seen. The game runs well, I haven't encountered a single performance-related issue with my time playing the game. And trust me, I've looked. I don't know what magic Bend Studios worked to get this game so darned optimized, but I'm not complaining either.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is the same game we all played as a kid, with a new coat of paint and it works for the most part. Though the game might prove to be too difficult for today's gamers.

Weird West is a fantastic sandbox game that allows gamers to do what they want, complete with an interesting story and fun gameplay mechanics. Now, if only the AI-controller characters and the inventory system were addressed, it would make things better for the players.

DNF Duel is the total package and it has something for everyone. It's an easy to jump into fighting game, thanks to the simplified inputs while offering great depth and lots of opportunities to improve your skill. If ArcSys and Eighting can address those pesky infinities, and maybe make it not so much Kusoge, which I'm sure they will, and make address some character balancing, the DNF Duel will be at the forefront of fighting games for quite some time.

Need for Speed Unbound is an impressive street racing title, and a proper return of the once-street racing game king. It's nearly perfect, and despite a few flaws, it excels at giving us a fantastic street racing experience, lots of stuff to customize, and, more importantly, it's a blast to play

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a fantastic spin-off of the Nioh series, and while it feels like Team Ninja had a checklist of features it wanted to copy from other games, in the end, everything feels fresh and exciting. Outside of the performance issues, and the sometimes annoying AI-controller players, I found myself playing the game for hours. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is more than a Soulslike, more than an action game; it's a fun and enjoyable game.

Gunfire Games has taken everything it learned with Remnant From the Ashes and expanded on it in such a massive way that I don't think it can top it. But I'm more than happy to see them try. There's something for Remnant junkies, action RPG and Soulslike fans to enjoy, but more importantly, the game screams fun.
