Horatio Goes Snowboarding (-and Street Crossing) is a fine arcade-inspired experience for short bursts of play. It falls a bit short to become a real memorable game but that doesn’t mean you won’t have any fun from it.
Wind Peaks is a decent first game from Actoon Studio and a nice addition in the hidden object genre. The charming visuals impress in the beginning but become a bit repetitive, luckily the story holds up and remains fun to follow.
Agents of Mayhem needed more cooking time in the oven, more polish and it would have been a much better game. The different characters is what keeps the game floating, everything else, like the performance and the open world are disappointing. Shooter fans will still have a lot of fun but don’t expect too much before diving in.
Changing the typical slow-paced play from Monopoly into a fast-paced action brawler works surprisingly well.
Fundamentally Yooka-Laylee is a good game, but it’s a shame that Playtonic failed to bring an undeniable great game. The potential was extremely high but they left me a little disappointed. Wonky controls, bad camera work, annoying voice dialogue and issues with performance make Yooka-Laylee nothing more than an average game. It could have been so much more …
Great potential but comes a bit short in the end.
Hot Wheels Unleashed feels like a missed opportunity to make Mattel’s brand relevant in the gaming scene. Players will have fun playing it but other similar games are vastly superior, so this might only be something for Hot Wheels collectors. Visually the game is fantastic and the track editor works wonders for replay value but the chance is high that the racing gameplay loses your interest.
Overall I can only recommend this game for genre-lovers and fans from RWBY.
I recommend it for the online play, but as a single-player experience I would stay far away.
For the younger gamers among us, this title is worthwhile!
Cars 3: Driven to Win is not your typical movie inspired videogame, far from perfect but it’s actually a fun racing experience for everyone.
Developer Pencil Test put so many time making a unique and beautiful game that other parts are a little neglected. Armikrog is a game that gamers can and will love, you just have to live with the few shortcomings.
I had a little bit too much annoying feelings while playing 8DAYS but I’m sure some gamers will absolutely adore this game. The visuals and sound are a pure joy but for me gameplay was fun but also frustrating and unfairly difficult.
Each hour is filled with bugs or online disconnects, making it a frustrating experience. I can only hope that Creative Assembly and 343 Industries can fix the game so it can shine like it deserves.
Child-friendly controls and clear explanations mean that any age can win. In conclusion, Sisters 2 – Road to Fame is a great party game when you have friends over. The single-player adventure mode is a surprisingly large experience but is plagued by dated visuals. It certainly has some cuteness and nice details but seems straight out of the Xbox 360 period. Which of course does not affect the enjoyable gameplay. However, the adventure mode quickly became too much and I just went to the quick-play option to play the mini-games. A game like Sisters 2 increases my yearning for a new Fuzion Frenzy. If you’re looking for something similar, you’ve come to the right place with this game.
NBA 2K23 screams to be a LifeisXbox recommended game if you look at graphics, sound, and even gameplay but there are two negatives that drastically lower the enjoyment of players. The online performance and the constant pushing of buying virtual currency with real money give the game a very sour aftertaste.
Gleylancer is a fun hardcore Shmup with challenging gameplay and I really appreciate all the tweaks that Ratalaika made to make ik more accessible for all gamers.
Inversus is a simple but exciting game. It offers original and fun gameplay suited for quick gaming sessions. However, I would only recommend picking it up if you have one or more friends to play it with.
Perfect Woman can shock some gamers with the graphical content but the creative freedom and well designed hand drawn style makes the game stand out. Blowing away the stereotypes for womans, making people laugh and providing fun although repetitive gameplay.
Fantastic sound and visuals but the most important thing was a little forgotten, Gameplay. While Pinstripe is surely a game I can recommend to play, the potential was astonishing and Armor Games didn’t reach that high level. One thing is for sure though, I won’t easily forget Mr. Pinstripe.. what a haunting character!
