"While you won’t necessarily be phoning home with this remastered version of Destroy all Humans! there are certainly enough comedic moments and chaotic behaviour on offer to make for an entertaining and worthwhile experience."

8.5 / 10.0 - Titanfall 2
Nov 11, 2016

"In 2014, Respawn knocked loudly on the door of the video game industry with Titanfall, and with their blockbuster of a follow-up have promptly returned to blast that very same door completely from its hinges. Its fantastic combination of fast fluid gunplay and mechanised combat in both multiplayer and through its enticingly solid single player campaign easily make Titanfall 2 one of the best and must have first-person shooters on the current market"

9.5 / 10.0 - Battlefield 1
Oct 26, 2016

"EA DICE’s bold decision to turn Battlefield 1’s campaign into segmented “War Stories” has massively paid off, with a variety of battles from many countries both captivating, heart wrenching and enthralling at the same time. Uneasy load times aside, Battlefield 1 delivers the greatest single player campaign in series history with a multiplayer element that brilliantly compliments it. "

"The combination of art, narration and a beautiful soundtrack composed by Jessica Curry that fits every moment of the game solidified Dear Esther one of the most beloved and iconic video games around. With its long-awaited introduction onto Xbox One and PS4, console players can now enjoy the intimate experience first hand with in-depth commentary from key members of the original team at The Chinese Room".

8 / 10.0 - Worms W.M.D
Sep 12, 2016

"Brilliantly building on the success of Armageddon, Worms W.M.D. is the best game in the series to date. Both charming, intelligent while bulging with hilarious off the cuff remarks and quirky accents, Worms W.M.D. brilliantly incorporates the gameplay we’ve come to know and love with a mixture of exciting new additions thrown in for good measure".

8 / 10.0 - F1 2016
Aug 21, 2016

"Undoubtedly the best title in the series, F1 2016 is as visually gorgeous as it has ever been, with attentive detail put into every aspect of the sport".

"Bloober Team has built on the strong success of Layers of Fear with Inheritance. The short story expansion is an intriguing blend of fear, curiosity and innocence; allowing players to view the painter from the perspective of his small daughter and journey through her memories of the protagonist as a father".

10 / 10.0 - INSIDE

"Inside is a hauntingly oppressive 2D platforming masterpiece with a gorgeous artistic approach, incorporating moments of stealth, frantic chases with creative but not overly complex puzzles".

5 / 10.0 - Lost Sea
Jul 5, 2016

"Lost Sea is full of great ideas, sadly those ideas get all too quickly lost beneath its largely frustrating permadeath system and lacklustre enemies".

"Despite its largely enjoyable elements and very likeable protagonist Deadlight: Director's Cut is hampered by a sluggish combat system that leaves a lot to be desired, with puzzles that quite frankly wouldn’t trouble a small child".

6.5 / 10.0 - Hard Reset Redux
Jun 16, 2016

"Clearly drawing inspiration from classic shooters like id Software’s Quake and DOOM, Hard Reset boasts a mesmerising Bladerunner style aesthetic that fits well with the games story and enemies. Some moments left me in awe, some scratching my head but overall Hard Reset is a game worth checking out, once your done cleaning demon brains from the soles of your boots" .

"In my opinion the best title in the series to date, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter is a nice step in the right direction for Frogwares and the popular investigative series in general. Its graphics fit nicely with the current generation console even if its action sequences sometimes flatter to deceive".

"The collection does not look at all out of place on the Xbox One/PlayStation 4 and gives players the chance to return to Hanoi once more for some good old fashioned blood-splattered fun. The setting is perfect, the action – fast and frantic but the most important cog in the Dead Island engine is its ability to allow players to team up with friends and other players to take on the infection, that feature remains and that alone would be enough for me to part with my hard earned cash".

"In a market where games such DOOM run at a mighty and smooth 60FPS, technical weakness isn't something gamers will accept or tolerate after parting with their hard earned cash. Sadly, a large percentage of paying customers will be turned off by Homefront: The Revolution's technical issues."

"With a constant influx of enjoyable roguelike FPS titles available on today's current market, it would be hard to simply ignore Paranautical Activity. While the game certainly isn’t great or as enjoyable as previous titles, Tower of Guns or Ziggurat, it certainly has something to offer and a charm to it."

"Navigating the hazardous river is no small feat with horrible steering until you are able to upgrade to a rudder, however, the river poses a challenge that carries with it, its own rewards. Although there is little in the way of narrative throughout the story I found myself sharing a bond with the games characters".
