While there's room for Hitman to tank in future episodes, so far this new take on the game is a solid success, and I'm greatly looking forward to episode 3

Despite the shortened quests found in Automatron, I can still recommend this DLC without hesitation to anyone who wants more Fallout 4 (or anyone who felt the base game was a little lacking and needed something else to spice up the formula).

Unscored - Layers of Fear

If you prefer something action-oriented like Resident Evil or Dead Island, this indie gem probably won't be worth the buy. For fans of Soma or The Park, however, or anyone who spent way too long going down the endless corridors of PT, it's no question that Layers Of Fear will be a must-play.

Considering how much fun I'm having just playing these handful of missions available in the first episode, I suspect this new approach will work well, if they can keep up the high quality in future episodes.

Play literally anything else. Absolutely any half assed $5 indie game on the PSVR store will be more entertaining than Gungrave VR.

With wonky mechanics and a lack of immersion, this is less a virtual golf simulator and more of a boring golf mini game that just happens to have some fun waifu eye candy.

New developer Polyslash imitates the greats but falls just short of offering something truly scary.

There may never have been so promising a game so completely destroyed by launch bugs as Wolcen.

Nostalgic to a fault, this return to the classic series learned nothing from the decades of game development since the last main entry.

This "major" expansion is anything but, with a disappointing lack of levels and worthwhile extra content for Vermintide 2 fans.

Darksiders 3 is a major downgrade with simplified design, slower Souls-style combat, and a lack of anything to distinguish it from any other action game.

From a horribly botched launch to clunky UI and a hunger/thirst meter that actively tries to kill you, there's so much this game does wrong that it's hard to focus on what Metal Gear Survive does right.

The unique blindness mechanic just isn't quite enough to overcome a bland execution and lackluster story.

Although I didn't particularly enjoy the ending, I do still want to go back and play through some other options to see what changes, so clearly Telltale didn't completely bungle Game Of Thrones. That being said, this was a pretty weak ending, and it really doesn't stack up with something as gut-wrenching as the end of Telltale's The Walking Dead Season 1. It seems likely they'll have a chance to rectify that with a second season, but my hopes aren't high that the ending to that hypothetical future series will be any better.

Anyone who loved the original Baldur's Gate through Throne Of Bhaal should of course pick up Siege Of Dragonspear despite the flaws.

While the writing is surprisingly high-quality and the UI is slick, the lack of any real choice and abrupt ending make Coteries Of New York tough to recommend.

If you need to know how We Happy Few ends, then We All Fall Down is worth the price of admission, although the gameplay itself isn't that stellar.

Gorgeous graphics and excellent sound design don't make up for a lack of gameplay and an extremely short playtime.

Only minor tweaks and additions arrive to change the formula, so if you loved the first game you'll get plenty more to enjoy, but if you hated it...
