Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a great package that includes the HD versions of the first three games of the Ace Attorney series. If you haven't played any of them or you missed one, its a great opportunity to give a try. On the other hand and if you are a veteran fan, you will enjoy it a lot too, even though it doesn't offer anything new at all.

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers is an awesome expansion that offers an incredible story that approaches the world we already know from a new perspective, as well as some new interesting additions in the form of jobs, races and gameplay mechanics. The bad part is that the narrative is kinda slow paced and take some time before starting to get deeper and darker.

Tokyo Mirage Sessssions #FE was one of the most colorful, entertaining and visually amazing games from the Wii U that, sadly, most people ignored. Now, this new port for the Nintendo Switch serves as a second chance to get into this fabulous game, all while it adds a fair amount of extra content (previous DLC and new materials) that turn it into the most complete version of the title. It's one game that many will enjoy, specially fans from the RPG genre, the Fire Emblem and/or Shin Megami Tensei/Persona series and, even so those one who played the original title.

One Piece. Pirate Warriors 4 is not a bad game at all as it offers a lot of frenetic and chaotic battles with simple yet fun gameplay mechanics. However, it is really predictable and its contents are what many fans (from both the anime and Musou series) would expect. Its more of the same formula we have seen in previous titles, though that is not necessarily bad or wrong; only not amusing.

84 / 100 - Trials of Mana
Apr 22, 2020

Trials of Mana is a great remake. Albeit the original game never came to the west until last year and most JRPG fans didn't get the chance to play it, this new version of the japanese classic achieves in offering both a classic and fresh gameplay experience, not to mention a nice and colorful visual update.

80 / 100 - Sakura Wars
Apr 29, 2020

As a soft reboot, this new entry of Sakura Wars works perfect as it offers some fresh ideas and changes to its gameplay mechanics while retaining the essence of the series, as well as most of the key aspects that turned it in one of the most beloved franchises in Japan. However, it is not suited for everyone as its combat controls feels clunky and basic and the combination of genres is unbalanced, so much that it will mostly appeal to those that love dating sims and visual novels.
