This short DLC can be seen as a sum of everything that makes Gears… Gears. The short duration allowed the screenwriters to give shape to a tighter and more cinematic story, all embellished with quite varied scenarios and a graphic impact among the best in circulation. Perhaps there remains a bit of the bitterness of not having seen Hivebusters exploited as a Trojan horse with which to experiment with the introduction of something new in terms of gameplay. But, after all, fans of the Microsoft franchise will be able to enjoy another three unreleased hours in single player or cooperative.

The italian shoot 'em up can be lived as a challenge to face until the end or just a five-minutes tool of entertainment. Either ways are good and works.

Dead Rising 4 is the worthy heir of its predecessor. The return of Frank West does not change the gameplay introduced three years ago maintaining all the non-sense on which the saga has built its fame. The price, however, is a lowering of the difficulty far beyond an acceptable sense of challenge.

Beacon Pines is an adventure that takes shape before the player's eyes, but the gameplay feels so much limited because of the narrative. Despite that, it tries to tell a meaningful arc that overshadows its shortcomings by delivering a coming-of-age story in which it is worth diving.

He chooses simple mechanics and proposes them in ad ten and more hours loop, but in doing so, however, it makes the right choice, because Maneater is a well crafted and fun title. The return of Resident Evil 3 manages to maintain the balance between memory and adaptation. Even if the renunciation of certain characteristic aspects of the original game could disappoint the most avid fans, the care taken in the reconstruction of the atmosphere and of the feeling it is visible an above all, perceivable. Nemesis could have been more time on the stage, of course, but even so its presence hovers in the apocalypse of Raccoon City, and when it finally manifests itself it is as beautiful as it is distressing. Though: twenty years later, its threat it can be put back into perspective and the blows exchanged between peers.

It is undeniable that Immortals: Fenyx Rising owes much to Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it is equally undeniable that the Ubisoft game manages to find its way and to propose its own vision. Those who do not appreciate open-worlds very much, where the fulcrum is the collection of treasures and the completion of challenges, could perceive more than others a sense of repetitiveness, which never becomes boring and which takes advantage of a clean technical realization. I enjoyed every minute spent on the Golden Island and at the end I was sad to say goodbye.

I would not call Twelve Minutes just an experiment, because the result is convincing in every aspect and the perfectible parts are absolutely minor. The experience packaged by Luis Antonio and Annapurna is another excellent example of the possibilities that videogames can offer, both in narrative and interactive terms.
