8.5 / 10.0 - TowerFall Ascension
Mar 29, 2014

TowerFall Ascension should be included with each DualShock 4 sold separately – if you're buying an additional controller, you'll need to have this gem.

8.5 / 10.0 - Spelunky
Oct 9, 2014

Two-dimensional Indiana Jones, who fell in love with Dark Souls. Randomly generated top-class boards and fun for months to come.

Incredibly playable combination of twin-stick shooter and roguelike'iem. If you are able to accept unusual styling, you will be waiting for tens of hours of shooting tears at monsters straight from sleepy nightmares.

9.5 / 10.0 - Shovel Knight
Apr 30, 2015

A sensational platform adventure for everyone, regardless of age. Refined control, stylized binding, interesting bosses, numerous secrets... Such a thing could only be created in an independent studio. A real masterpiece from game enthusiasts.

A sensational story in the absurd world of borderlands. And it will amuse, and it will touch – but above all it will amuse. For fans, the position is mandatory, although new to the series should not feel lost.

7.5 / 10.0 - Rez Infinite
Oct 22, 2016

The highest shelf in its species. Good old Rez ingeniously uses PlayStation VR goggles, but without nostalgia for the original there is nothing to throw. The price/length ratio of the fun is not the best.

10 / 10.0 - Dishonored 2
Nov 14, 2016

Double the dose of "fun" we know and love from the first Dishonored. Every aspect of the original has been improved, giving Uncharted 4 a decent competitor to the title game of the year. Drake, excuse me, I stay with Emily.

8.5 / 10.0 - Watch Dogs 2
Nov 27, 2016

Don't mind hipster feeling of Watch Dogs 2. Game is an exceptionally solid production with an open world whose creators have understood what the players wanted from the beginning of the series.

I appreaciate the developer for trying something innovative, but their idea does not work. AI makes very unpleasant opponents to play with and the multiplayer mode is dead from the start – even with cross-play with PCs!

4.5 / 10.0 - Semispheres
Feb 14, 2017

Two thumbs, two analogs, two characters. Sadly, there are far better games which utilise that kind of premise.

8 / 10.0 - Sniper Elite 4
Feb 18, 2017

There are places for improvement in terms of AI and story, but it's still amazingly good TPS with fantastic open levels and exciting x-ray shots. If you try it, you certainly won't regret it.

Wonderful VR experience made with respect for the first Psychonauts. Tim Schafer proves that he never lost it and Psychonauts 2 will be as good as the original.

Remember Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from the Butcher Bay? Imagine something like that, but with exceptional gameplay from Deus Ex: Mankind Divided!

7 / 10.0 - Clicker Heroes
Mar 12, 2017

Clicker genre does not fit for the consoles and Clicker Heroes is the good example for that. Strangely addictive pointless game, which makes more sense on the PC.

Interesting combination of Persona and Ace Attorney, with a pinch of Joker character from Batman series. Two wonderful games which sadly brings nothing new in the PlayStation 4 version.

Styx: Shards of Drakness is developing the predecessor's ideas, but there is no breakthrough here. We are returning at one's old place in a slightly better, nicer and more friendly way. The game perfectly implements characteristics of stealth games, but because of bugs it misses AAA games quality.

5.5 / 10.0 - Lego Worlds
Mar 20, 2017

Combination of unsuccessful Minecraft clone and No Man’s Sky. LEGO Worlds looks nice, but it quickly become a chore to play.

3 / 10.0 - Everything
Mar 24, 2017

Vast ambitions and poor overall quality. Form over substance, which may be appreciated for the magnitude of the virtual world and nothing else.

One of the most dull games available. You can play it, but don’t expect anything of even remotely good quality there.

Dull missions of Mafia 3 needed this kind of gameplay variety. It's a shame the developer hadn't understood it up until now.
