89 / 100 - Chained Echoes
Dec 7, 2022

If you like the classics of the 16-bit era role-playing, you will enjoy Chained Echoes like a pig in a puddle. It takes everything that has aged badly of the genre (random combats, rhythm ...) and brings it up to date with exquisite taste. For something it has been 7 years in development, and it is something that shows. Too bad it doesn't have texts in Spanish.

89 / 100 - Returnal
Feb 15, 2023

The mixture of shooting arcade "bullet hell" with roguelite results in an interesting proposal, which in its jump to PC leaves an even more colorful technical plot. Of course, its difficulty and style may not be to the liking of all players, so if you do not like challenges and loops or repetitions, better think of another game.

Bayonetta Origins is uncovered as a more than interesting metroidvania that, without reinventing the wheel of the genre, does well everything it puts on the table, with a technical invoice that, although it does not always give the breast, sometimes will make you doubt if you are playing on Switch. As soon as you like this subgenre, you will enjoy it from beginning to end.

89 / 100 - Cocoon
Sep 28, 2023

Like the previous Jeppe Carlsen games, Cocoon is a special title, a wonderful little puzzle adventure that plays with original concepts and ideas. It may be brief, leaving you wanting more... But it is one of those indie games that, as soon as you are attracted to the genre, you have to play yes or yes.

Nintendo Switch y Xbox One are now home to the best FFXII version, a port that contains all the new elements from The Zodiac Age edition for PS4 and adds some requested functions, like the job licenses' reset. And, don't forget, the Switch version it's the only one that you can play on portable mode, a fact that some of us can't resist to...

Two Point Hospital it's what lots of players have been waiting: a new Theme Hospital. Maybe it's very similar to Bullfrog's game, and don't go too far from that formula... but at the same time, that's one of its strongests points: it's like traveling back 20 years, with some new additions. A very funny game, that newcomers can find difficult.

It show its age in some details, but still is one of the funniest open world adventures out there, mixing ideas and mechanics from games like GTA, Crackdown or Prototype. It's crazy, ridiculous, hilarius and parodies lots of games. A pure madness that last more than 20 hours, optional tasks aside, with an entertaining plot and coop mode.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 moves between the old and new like fish on water. It offers the same control, the iconic levels and the gameplay we used to love, but with a new and shiny body, that offers more options than ever. It's not perfect, but it's the skate game that lots of us were expecting.

Hotline Miami Collection arrives in physical format to our country, reuniting two of the best indie action games. The series started almost 10 years ago, and as with old good classics, they are timeless: graphics, gameplay, music... all is still over the top.

88 / 100 - Dying Light
Jan 30, 2015

‎Dying Light may not be the most original or the best scripted game, but what it does, it does well. Zombies, parkour, co-op... one of those games that as you try it will catch you, and even more so if you play with friends.‎

Uncharted it's another PlayStation-to-PC port well done, that adds a couple of great and intense adventures to Steam and Epic Games Store that will catch your atention till the end. But, even if they are good ports, we miss some options, like playing with higher fps or ray tracing.

The expansion of the Winters is an interesting addition, although it pales in comparison to what Capcom did with Resident Evil 7. It includes much less content, less varied and surprising. And it's a shame, because Capcom had enough to take from to tell new stories or focus on other characters, starting with Lady Dimitrescu.

88 / 100 - It Takes Two
Nov 2, 2022

This superb cooperative platformer adventure comes to Nintendo Switch with a great port that has almost nothing to envy to the rest of versions. It even adds new features, such as a careful dubbing into Spanish with very recognizable voices. If you have Switch and you like cooperative games, you should not miss it for anything in the world.

Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is the "homage" game that needed the 35th anniversary of FF, a title that brings together the best of its soundtrack with a fun and simple style of play, which both casual and hardcore players will enjoy. Add hundreds of things to unlock and an adorable aesthetic, and you have a great game.

A fun and explosive action game that on PC is even more beast in the technical (and that you can play with Steam Deck and ROG ALLY), thanks to which Nixxes saves the furniture and chains a third quality port, which looks spectacular with the latest graphics, although it still needs a few patches to be polished and perfect.

Like Portal and other puzzle games, The Talos Principle 2 is a small marvel that, in this case, doesn't stop at its clever challenges or its technical section. He spices up his story with thought-provoking philosophical decisions and reflections, even after the story is over. A small wonder, now available in physical form.

87 / 100 - Indivisible
Oct 7, 2019

An interesting mix of genres, with a unique visual style, tons of humor and, salvo por algunos fallos menores, it unfolds like a very enjoyable and unexpected surprise that will enjoy all those seeking for a different game, long and with its own personality. No doubt, Indivisible it's one of 2019 biggest's surprises.

87 / 100 - The Pathless
Nov 10, 2020

The Pathless picks ideas from some of the greatest adventures and adapts them to create something new, with its own identity. Maybe it's no the longest, but its one of those titles that you will remember for long time, for its wonderful aesthetic, sound, bosses or the way you move by its world (a mechanic that is highly enjoyable).

One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 lands on Switch with a "deluxe edition" that keeps all the pros and cons from the original release: a huge amount of content, repetitive gameplay mechanics and missions, varied modes, faithful visuals to the anime... A game that fits perfectly on Switch, and it's highly enjoyable "on the go".

86 / 100 - Owlboy
Feb 14, 2018

Owlboy arrives on Nintendo Switch (and PS4 y Xbox One) retaining all its charm and beautiful pixel art that make it an indie hit in 2016. It's a nice adventure that shines in its characters and writing, but if fells short in playing time, collectibles and use of the world. At least, you can now enjoy this little gem anyewhere.
