Odallus: The Dark Call provides a satisfying retro experience comparable to other great nostalgic products, such as Shovel Knight or The Messenger. Although brief, it is very entertaining and another demonstration of Brazil's potential in game development.

Little Nightmares 2 is more of the same, but it is a deja vu of a very unique and enjoyable experience. Although it does not bring significant innovations and provides a brief experience, the art and design of the game is quite impressive. Cursed Castilla is a refined Ghost'n Goblins, with a fair and appropriated level of challenge. The story is a mere background and little instigates the curiosity. The graphics and soundtrack are simple, replicating the rudimentary elements of its source of inspiration. The new Telltale game brings new cases to the universe of the series and presents an interesting narrative. Through an episode starring children, we can see the post-apocalyptic world by a different point of view. Clementine plays a mother role for AJ and her responses influence his behavior, leading to some unexpected situations and sometimes even a sense of guilt. The ending of the first episode impresses and causes a certain curiosity of what is to come.

A Plague Tale is an interesting new intellectual property. The period of the black death was reimagined with a narrative permeated by mystical elements, while exploring the fraternal relationship between Amicia and Hugo. The Tacoma space station hides a special and enigmatic story, which can be shallow or deep, according to the player's investment. There is limited interactivity, typical of recent adventures, but the great storytelling will not leave the user bored. With a reasonable price and great content, La Mulana 1 & 2 provides many hours of entertainment. It is a good cost x benefit, as long as the user is aware of the saga he is about to embark on. It is not an easy journey and, for the most part, the game does not provide guidance. It is a well-produced game, but, in the end, it is up to each player to assess how suitable La Mulana is for himself. If the constant obstacles and dead ends exhaust your patience, it is better to look for something else. If persistence and a taste for mystery defines you, it's definitely worth checking out.

Infernax brings an interesting system of choices in a retro game, giving a certain freedom to the player, something that was not so common in the 8-bit era. The gameplay is quite primitive and there hasn't been too much effort to bring more modern elements to it. Thus, it is difficult to recommend Infernax to players who cannot tolerate the gameplay and aesthetics typical of the era it simulates. If that's not your case, Infernax is worth checking out. Despite the impression of being an unpretentious and simple game, Pocky & Rocky Reshrined provides a great time. The gameplay is functional and challenging in the right measure. The graphics are good and the animations are excellent. The soundtrack is impeccable. The game delivered by Tengo Project is exemplary in many departments, but some questionable implementations and the lack of online co-op and content compromises the overall experience.
