8 / 10 - Timespinner
Oct 3, 2019

Timespinner may not be the most phenomenal Metroidvania-type game ever made but a game doesn't need to carry an encyclopedic amount of content to stand out. Timespinner knows how to draw the player's attention with the right classic inspirations and a fun combat system, as well as with an interesting plot that never feels too heavy or forced. A work that has more than earned its right to the players' dedication.

Most of its effectiveness lies on the co-op component, which makes the experience very fun and involving thanks to its robust combat system and humorous plot. While the solo experience is properly balanced, it's on its co-op component that Full Metal Furies really stands out and nobody should forego their chance to get their hands on this.

Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea DX on the Nintendo Switch brings the Dusk Trilogy to an end and it's easily the best and most accessible game of the trio. 8 / 10 - Eastward
Sep 24, 2021

Eastward is a gorgeous looking adventure game that features a great mechanic of synergy-building between characters during fights and puzzle-solving, and a welcoming combat system. Its level design is mostly simple, but the settings look so beautiful it's worth just to marvel at the art style. While there are some performance issues on a television screen when there's a lot of characters on display at the same time and there's a lot of backtracking involved, Eastward is a very interesting and captivating experience for anyone looking for a good adventure game.

8 / 10 - Smelter
Oct 13, 2021

Smelter bears the true marks of a tribute to the 16-bit era, and combines elements of both platforming action and real time strategy with a result that's nothing short of a dignified successor to its sources of inspiration. The interaction between the platforming and the strategy dimensions is very well implemented, and its exploration mechanics work like a charm. This is beyond doubt a work that's worth getting into.
