n his current state, Anthem is a nice action game in the beginning, that loses its momentum very fast due to strong flaws in game- and missiondesign, a slow RPG part, a weak story, uninspired mechanics and many technical issues. We currently don`t recommend a buy and only a round in the play first trial with EA or Origin Access after a potential healing in a couple of months.

Also in version 2.0, DiRT Rally stays a brilliant hardcore-simulation with deep-rooted mechanics, an enormous grade of detail and a steep motivation curve without nearly no mistakes after all. Fans of rally and friends of racing games should put this title on their list.

With it`s weak story, a soulless presentation and repetetive gameplay, Crackdown 3 is a total disappointment after all. The game feels like a Remaster of the first title and continues the series of mediocre exclusives with only few, but outstanding honorable mentions for the Xbox One. Fans of the series should grab the title via Game Pass, everyone else should find plenty of other and better options.

Wargroove is a good tactics game, which manages to deliver nearly the same experience as advance wars all bundled with a big content, a massive level editor and diversified missiondesign, but also stays without little exceptions in the comfortzone of his template and struggles with some inconsequences in artwork and sound. Fans of Advance Wars and tacticsgames still are served best here and should definitely pick this one up.

Project Aces and Bandai Namco deliver with Ace Combat 7 - Skies Unknown the usual fine package out of spectucular aerial combat, a diversified missiondesign with very well-made controls and a splendid original score, but also struggles with issues in performance and a dull storytelling. Yo-Kai Watch 3 is a very well made RPG and Adventure mixture, that scores with funny characters, lots of content and a good polished Gameplay, but has his little fights with the combat system, which is kind of hectic and sometimes a bit confusing. Red Dead Redemption 2 is the promised masterpiece we all expected in advance: an epic Western with a rich content which delivers an enormous grade of detail and possibly the best-looking game of this generation. You can clearly feel all the effort the developers put into it. A must-buy for all fans of a more grown-up western and a massive Open World, which many people will talk about in years from now.

Starlink is a well-done mixture between an arcadeshooter and an openworld game with focus on exploration, which delivers players a good package combined together with the classic formula of Ubisoft, a good (but expensive) toys-to-life product line and the possibility to complete the game without any additional payments. Unfortunately, Shadow of the Tomb Raider is a classic third episode as you only know it from hollywood: working mechanics were made worse, the story is too slow-pacing or without highlights and the whole game feels like a downgrade in comparison to its predecessors. Sure, the game is not bad after all and you are going to have a lot of fun with it, but it simply doesn`t feel that round as it could be. Anyway, fans of the genre and Miss Croft shouldn`t miss out the third embodiment.

On the paper Go Vacation sounds like a well made minigame-compilation, but in reality too many fillergames, issues with the clunky controls, loveless made HD enhancements and quite disturbing sound effects let the game move toward below average. Dark Souls Remastered is also in this version one kind of an experience: The game does not give you anything, but manages to deliver unique moments of success while progressing through the game and comes with very deep-rooted and highly sophisticated gameplay mechanics. Despite there is no additional content aside the Prepare to Die Edition and only a few minor graphical changes were made, fans and new entrants to the series should definitely get their hands on one of the most insteresting and fascinating titles in the history of videogames.

In its core Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition is a traditional Musō-style Game which unfortunately took over 1:1 all of the typical issues that the Warriors series has. Also the game fights with technical issues but carefully manages to take all the major storyelements of the Legend of Zelda series that create an interesting perspective on how Link and his friends would face epic battles within it. Fans of both worlds should give the world of Hyrule apart from Nintendo a try.

Even that the changes to the original from 2014 are very small and the price is higher than the original release on the WiiU back in 2014, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is a gorgeous and awesome playable plattformer and probably the best AAA-Jump N`Run you have faced in years. An absolute no-brainer for fans of the genre.
