By fully taking advantage of its medium Fire Emblem: Three Houses tells a compelling story and makes you feel part of it by letting you take a side in a complex and morally grey conflict. Gameplay wise, Thee Houses delivers a fun and accessible strategy RPG that has everything that Fire Emblem fans have loved through the years. One of the best Nintendo Switch exclusives so far.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening it's a phenomenal remake of a timeless classic. Grezzo took everything that made the original great and implemented lots of quality of life improvements that make it a joy to play. It also has a great art direction that took our breath away. It is clear that PixelOpus believes a lot in his project and that it was born out of sacrifice, dedication and love for art. Unfortunately, Concrete Genie is far from reaching the heights that so much effort would deserve and seems to be destined to pass unoticed. Luigi’s Mansion 3 is a game that will satisfy those who have enjoyed the past 2 adventures of this coward plumber. Next Level Games took what worked in Dark Moon, combined it with the best of the first installment and let their creativity flow in other branches to deliver what I think is the best Luigi’s Mansion to day.It is a shame that its pacing is not ideal for a game of its kind, but that does not prevent it from being a high quality product.

Pokémon Sword & Shield are an experience full of bittersweet contrasts. They do several things right and Pokémon fans will have a great time exploring Galar. Whit that said they also have half-baked elements that feel off. I have to admit that they leave me excited for the future of the series; hopefully, Game Freak will commit to ideas like the Wild Area and Dynamax forms.

Mafia II stood out during the last generation of consoles for all the right reasons. This is why it is not surprising that in 2020 it is as entertaining as it was before. Sadly, Mafia II: Definitive Edition turns out to be a remaster that is far from reaching the heights of the original. It is not a catastrophic product at any means, but Mafia fans deserve more.

Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom was never an exceptional platformer - we can even accuse it of being generic - and that remains in its version Rehydrated. What also does not change in this remake is that it is a project that makes good use of its source material. It also looks better with much needed graphical upgrades. A good remake for a decent game.
