7 / 10.0 - My Big Sister
Jun 25, 2019

In the end, My Big Sister had a story that stands out from the crowd. With multiple outcomes, it certainly does hold the value of it's asking price of $5.99. Players looking for a more traditional RPG experience may want to steer away. If, however, you're seeking a good puzzler RPG with a decent sense of humor that helps lighten some dark themes, then My Big Sister is something to check out.

I would say War Tech Fighters does a fairly good job of living up to the claim of combining anime with blockbusters. The action is fairly steady throughout the game. The ability to upgrade and customize your War Tech is tons of fun. Aside from the load times, everything about this game says yes. If you're looking for a ton of action, War Tech Fighters is certainly a game you should try.

7 / 10.0 - Gunlord X
Jul 29, 2019

Gunlord X although at times what seemed difficult was still a fun run 'n' gun game. The variety of weapons and stages was a warm welcome, making it worth the asking price of $9.99.

7 / 10.0 - Catch a Duck
Aug 14, 2019

Overall, Catch a Duck was a fun experience. Outwitting the larger predators by getting them caught in traps, or forcing the hunters to shoot each other, was enjoyable. The puzzles were challenging but not overly difficult, which is appreciated. Catch a Duck isn't anything too groundbreaking, but it's a fun title that is priced right and worth your time.

4 / 10.0 - Mochi Mochi Boy

Not enough to go around for the asking price when much better puzzle games are on the Switch. Aside from over 130 stages, this game doesn't have much to offer.

9.5 / 10.0 - Forager
Aug 23, 2019

I reviewing this game was a ton of fun. I enjoyed every minute I have put into the game. With so more to be discovered, I can't wait until the next time I have a chance to play it again. Forager is easily one of my favorite games. Players who enjoy crafting, farming and exploration games should definitely check this game out.

Players who have not experienced any of the titles, just one or just want them all together in one place should certainly pick this up. Fans of puzzlers and platforming alike should certainly look into the Mighty Switch Force collection. Honestly, the price of $19.99 is an amazing value, considering the amount of content included in this collection.

The asking price of $17.99 does seem a bit high considering it’s $5 more when compared to the price on other consoles. Nonetheless, Robbie Swifthand and the Orb of Mysteries, even if it doesn’t steal your love away from your favorite platformer, is still a good game.

5 / 10.0 - Gurgamoth
Sep 4, 2019

With only one style of gameplay, just over a handful of stages, and only six characters that look generally the same, the $9.99 asking price just doesn’t seem worth it. Gurgamoth felt more like early access or a test demo than a full game.

4 / 10.0 - STANDBY
Sep 19, 2019

Standby lacks that connection that makes you care about the tend goal. It got to the point where the levels were so difficult I couldn't care less about what happened to the little guy in the pea-green trench coat. I didn't have the motivation or inspiration to keep trying to help him escape the glitched world.

7.5 / 10.0 - Hookbots
Sep 30, 2019

Robots, mayhem, and destruction, what more do you want? Hookboots is a good party game, offering more than I expected at first look. Even if you don't have three friends to play with there is enough content to keep things interesting.

Playing Battle Supremacy: Ground Assault was an enjoyable experience. I enjoyed playing through the campaign even if the story was something I felt like I had heard before. The optional drills was a nice touch, you didn't have to play but if you did you got more pieces for customisation.

5 / 10.0 - Niffelheim
Oct 11, 2019

Niffelheim had plenty of good things going for it, without room for mistakes it kind of killed the flow of the game. With plenty of other good crafting action-adventure RPG games on the Switch, Niffelheim just failed to hold my attention.

8 / 10.0 - A Knight's Quest
Oct 18, 2019

Although it seems clearly inspired by The Legend of Zelda series, A Knight's Quest forms its own footprint. Despite a few minor setbacks, A Knight's Quest does a great job delivering a fun, light-hearted adventure. Its funny storytelling sets it apart and makes a welcome addition to the Switch library. Genre fans should certainly check this one out.

Although Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered does include a handful or two of ideas and ghosts from the first two movies, it does a great job of explaining things enough that someone unfamiliar with the franchise can pick it up and play.

Balder's Gate 1 & 2 enhanced editions, despite the age, still feel like a more modern game. Aside from the massive amount of content that alone makes this purchase worth it. The unique gameplay keeps the game interesting. The story and quest are enjoyable and worth a play through.

7 / 10.0 - Aldred Knight
Oct 30, 2019

Aldred Knight of Honor is a budget title, but it does a great job of feeling like more. Having played it on my phone I can say it is much more enjoyable on Nintendo's console and feels like an entirely different game. Players looking for a decent action game should certainly take the time to check it out.

7.5 / 10.0 - Creepy Brawlers
Nov 4, 2019

Creepy Brawlers is a decent retro-inspired boxing game. It is a good mix of horror and boxing making it a fun alternative to the more common horror shoot-to-kill survival game.

3 / 10.0 - Community Inc
Nov 11, 2019

If Community Inc, sounds like work, it’s because it is. It felt like I was going from real-life work back to virtual work. I was initially very excited to be reviewing and playing Community Inc, the idea of it, at first view seemed interesting. Unfortunately, it falls victim to micromanagement with only a few feelings of surprise and accomplishment thrown in.

4 / 10.0 - Delta Squad
Nov 18, 2019

Delta Squad not only suffers from lack of originality but also overall lackluster gameplay. The repetition in objectives and stage design made me feel like a zombie myself.
