Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is the perfect opening for a much richer experience that Phantom Pain promises to offer. Ground Zeroes is intense, philosophical, dark, brutal, but full of hope at the same time.

The Old City: Leviathan is a great game for those who manage to understand it. If not for the huge blocks of text that offer as little and useful information as possible and for the more lively environments, I would have considered it an excellent exploration game.

6.5 / 10.0 - Warhammer Quest
Jan 17, 2015

Since I have the experience of playing Warhammer Quest for iOS, I would have expected developers to make some changes that would make it different from the mobile game.

Heroes of Might & Magic III has aged unexpectedly well, and the release of the HD Edition should breathe new life into a franchise that hasn't received favorable reviews in quite a long time.

8.5 / 10.0 - Deathtrap
Feb 4, 2015

Deathtrap is a fortunate tower defense / aRPG hybrid that checks all the requirements a game needs to stand out from other titles in the same genre. The amount of skills, powers, traps and towers allows for incredible levels of customization and strategies that players can employ in each scenario.

Overall, The Grand Tournament brings exactly what Hearthstone needs - new mechanics and tons of fun - while keeping the game balanced. The addition of new rewards for Ranked Play is another positive aspect, even though it's not related to The Grand Tournament expansion.

8 / 10.0 - Watch Dogs 2

The game has its moments and it's a title that must not be missed by those who love action-adventure games. The fact that it lacks the major technical issues of the predecessor is also a big plus.

8.5 / 10.0 - Tales of Berseria

Nevertheless, the story and combat mechanics makes up for anything faulty, so I can't recommend it enough to those who love JRPG games. Finally, a game where playing the villain feels kind of … right.

The flexibility that most of the cards in the new expansion offer when building a new deck surpasses everything that's been done in Hearthstone since the launch of the game. A word of advice before I go have some fund with my deathrattle priest deck: try not to craft too many legendary cards until the metagame is fine tuned.

9 / 10.0 - Injustice 2
May 25, 2017

It might not be the best fighting game out there, but Injustice 2 is definitely the most solid among them thanks to the amount of the content it offers for single player and online experiences.

With each new Hearthstone expansion, Blizzard has outdone itself, and Knights of the Frozen Throne is no exception to the rule. I can't wait to see what's next for Hearthstone and its very strong community.

I just hope that we won't have to wait too long for another Uncharted game comes out, though I have the feeling that Naughty Dog has a couple of aces under the sleeve, which will probably make us forget that there was once a treasure hunter by the name of Nathan Drake.

8 / 10.0 - Destiny 2
Sep 27, 2017

First and foremost, Destiny 2 does not frustrate players by placing parts of the end game under hard to achieve power level requirements. There's plenty of loot to gain and, more importantly, you're actually having fun while obtaining it.

Assassin's Creed: Origins is far from being a bad game, but fails to achieve greatness as well. If Ubisoft would have cut half of the low-quality content, I think we would have gotten a much better game. While there's definitely room for improvement, I strongly believe that the Assassin's Creed franchise took a turn in the right direction.

Seeing how Bungie approached the Destiny 2 expansion matter, I have low expectations from the next DLC that should arrive in the coming months and you should too.

Of course, if you're playing these games for the story above all else, Hacker's Memory will certainly reward you. One other thing that I consider a great move from Bandai Namco is making Hacker's Memory a completely standalone game with little to do with the previous title. That means that newcomers to the series will not feel confused because they didn't play Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth.

Overall, I found the new Shadow of the Colossus a pleasant journey peppered with some frustrating moments, especially when battling the colossi. If you can get passed that, Shadow of the Colossus can offer some epic moments and a beautiful world to explore.

Dragon Ball FighterZ truly is one of the best fighting games made in a long time hands down, so I'd suggest anyone who's into the genre get it sooner rather than later.

Perhaps if the next games were to head to a completely different directions, I would try another Seven Deadly Sins game, but until then, I can't recommend it to anyone who's already seen the anime series.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet can become boring quite fast due to its repetitive encounters and unevenly paced story, something that could have been easily avoided. The good news is SAO fans will find it a breath of fresh air, since Fatal Bullet plays and feels different than the previous games.
