While I think Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy could have been even better with a stronger commitment to developing its characters and ideas, it’s still great fun and something I can’t imagine an Ace Attorney fan or fan of mystery games in general wouldn’t enjoy.
If you have a lot of free time and like good mysteries, look no further - Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy has a plethora of content that will put your deduction, logic and reasoning skills to the test. If you're already a fan of the series, you'll always be able to relive the best moments of these three games with superior graphical quality, while we wait for Capcom to announce a new entry in the series.

You won’t need to know Phoenix Wright’s long history as an attorney, as the games present just enough information to let you know who he is, and it could serve as a reason to revisit the past titles, which are also available in compilations.

At $50 this is a solid collection of three really good portable games, rezzed up to modern HD screens and dimensions, with slight tweaks to account for former touchscreen controls and menus, making all three games feel right at home on the Nintendo Switch. Whether you’ve played the original releases or you’re jumping in for the first time, you really can’t go wrong with checking this collection out. It’s great to have the entire main series collected on the Switch, and hopefully this will help open the door for more Ace Attorney games in the near future.

Despite the inconsistent quality across this release's several mysteries and episodes, some of the franchise's best are showcased here in newly defined form. Further, the trilogy-exclusive features, such as the extensive art gallery, music player, and ease of accessibility with plenty of playable languages, make this another Ace Attorney homerun. Still, those who have strong attachments to the original trilogy may find it difficult to become endeared to these experiences.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy may not be the high point of the series so far, but it is a great representative of its charisma and a very important part of its story, adding curious mechanical elements to the lawyers' experience. With quality of life elements and extras from the Museum, the story of Apollo, Phoenix and Athena features captivating characters in bizarre cases and is much easier to enjoy in the new collection.

Once again, Capcom offers a near-perfect compilation of a franchise that deserves a little more attention. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy offers substantial improvements, even if Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice suffer a little more visually. The added bonuses will please fans, but I mainly recommend the game for those who haven't yet had the chance to discover these sequels to the license. In any case, I hope that the developers will be allowed to design a new opus in the future.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is what many fans have been waiting for since the remastering of the previous trilogy was launched in 2019 and the opportunity for non-Nintendo platform users to enjoy the other three titles in the saga that the game offered us. great developer Shu Takumi. The downside is that, unlike the remastering of Ghost Trick: Ghost Detective, another of its wonders that did arrive in Spanish, this time we have to settle for Shakespeare's language again, since Spanish has become to be left out of the equation. A real shame, since although Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice came out in English at the time for Nintendo Switch, Apollo Justice did enjoy a wonderful translation like the other three Nintendo DS titles. I also can't help but not mention the wonderful crossover of Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, which would have been a magnificent finishing touch as an extra in this edition as a spin off. Despite everything, they are three very good games that are worth playing, and that, despite being in English, fortunately it is not particularly difficult English and quite accessible to any intermediate level speaker of the language. The HD facelift is quite noticeable in the first title, while in the other two it is not appreciated too much.
