Games as good as Enter the Gungeon don't come along very often. There's so much to discover here that you'll be playing this game for a long time. And you'll still come back even after you see everything. Gungeon is the pinnacle of rogue-like design.
Enter the Gungeon is a full clip of awesome, loaded into a gun of perfection and fired onto the most interesting console.
Enter The Gungeon is nigh-on perfect. The hits are fine, the gunplay is wonderful, the animation and designs are fantastic, and it really needs to be picked up and played by anybody who isn’t looking for something really casual.
No game is perfect, but Enter the Gungeon is currently the pinnacle of Switch indie titles. It displays beautiful pixelated visuals, addictive twin-stick gameplay and outrageous rewards around every corner. A must buy!
With tons to find, unlock and kill, Enter the Gungeon is easily recommendable to those that don't mind a bit of repetition and difficulty, and especially to fans of Nuclear Throne and Binding of Isaac. While it doesn't totally reinvent the twin-stick shooter, it has all but perfected it and is worth every penny.

For one, the level of challenge it poses might be too high but the players are rewarded accordingly. It is a good time-killer because every run is just as fast-paced and action-packed as the last one, be it just a few minutes short or a full run of around an hour.
While the Rogue like genre may be getting a little crowded, there's certainly room for the likes of Enter the Gungeon. It ticks all the boxes, with gameplay that beckons you to come back for one more run, a great art style and presentation, and seemingly something new discover or unlock on every playthrough.
Quirky, funny, demanding, and requiring an awful lot of skill: Enter the Gungeon is one of the best action-roguelites in years.
Don't sleep on this game, it mixes the old with the new for a quality package worth shelling out the bullets for.
