Snipperclips Reviews
This colourful co-op puzzler is an ingenious treat that's sadly a little on the small side.
With a clever idea for 2D physics-based puzzle solving and a bright and colorful personality, Snipperclips: Cut it Out, Together! is a good experience by yourself and a great one with friends. Solving every puzzle won’t take too long, but Snipperclips is continuously clever in its puzzle design and adorably fun to watch play. It left me eagerly waiting to reunite more frogs, put together more cat puzzles, and solve whatever other odd challenges developer SFB Games might have in mind.
A highly imaginative puzzle game made all the more entertaining by its argument-inducing co-op options.
The myriad puzzles are satisfying to solve, even if bringing friends can create chaotic situations
Snipperclips is an engaging puzzler that's fun to play in groups, even if there's no long-lasting appeal.
Snipperclips is an enjoyable little puzzle game that brings friends and families together. The primary mechanic - cutting each other into useful shapes - is instantly intuitive. Whether you're playing in a duo, or in a group of four, Snipperclips will delight... until you run out of puzzles.
As of right now, Snipperclips is the second best game on the Nintendo Switch, more than deserving of a small investment of time and money. If you enjoy anything about Nintendo’s newest piece of hardware, you will definitely get a couple of great hours out of this game. Just be sure to bring a friend along for the fun.
Snipperclips is a terrifically charming package. It's one of those rare games I can flat-out recommend to everyone because odds are you'll have a blast with it, and so will anyone you share it with. If you're a Nintendo Switch owner, this deserves to be your next game after Zelda.
If you're looking to move beyond the most obvious of the Nintendo Switch's launch line-up, you could do far worse than to invest in the Joy-Con and Snipperclips bundle. It captures the essence of the likes of Overcooked!, but with a clear emphasis on using shapes to solve the physics puzzles. Yes, there is a limited amount of content and that hampers the appeal somewhat, but it's a great icebreaker at house parties.
Snipperclips - Cut It Out, Together! is an impressive showing both as far as first-round Nintendo Switch games go and puzzle titles in general. It’s a bargain for the amount of time you’ll get out of it, and it’s rife with color, intrigue, challenging puzzles, and adorable graphics. The only real problems arise from the fact that it’s meant to be played with others, so if that’s not your bag you won’t get as much out of it. For everyone else, however, this is a system-seller, especially since you can enjoy it on the go. You’ll want to cut in on a Snipperclips session, that’s for sure.
Fun and original game perfect for those who want to play with a friend, while it's not that great for lonely players.

A fun and clever multiplayer experience that would have been perfect if bundled with the console itself. It might lack that special spark of genius that could have turned Snipperclips into a cult classic, but it's still a fascinating and appealing way to show off your brand new Switch to anyone (gamer or not).

Getting people playing together wherever the Switch is, is the machine's USP and Snipperclips is the game that realizes that vision most effectively.
Nintendo Switch's second best launch game, Snipperclips is the perfect game if you're wanting to push your new console's multiplayer features. Fun puzzles combine with a gleefully cute aesthetic to make for a worth addition to any new owner's Switch library.
Forget 1-2 Switch; this inexpensive indie is the game you need to put Nintendo's tabletop mode–and your friendships–to the test
This cutesy game creates some wonderful multiplayer scenarios through a number of unique puzzles and tasks, but could Snipperclips really be the Nintendo Switch's sleeper hit?
Snipperclips offers hours of head-scratching puzzle fun with you and a friend. The price point is fair for the number of levels and modes it offers to encourage you to come back to work with your friends in party mode or take them on in Blitz mode. The difficulty curve is steep and some of the puzzles are too cryptic, but with determination and proper communication, you can tackle any problem. Make sure you bring a friend!
Some ideas are so perfect you can't believe that no one has thought of them before. Snip and Clip are a prime example
Forget about 1,2 Switch; Snipperclips is the perfect way to show off the multiplayer aspect of the Switch. Whether you want to team up to solve puzzles or throw down in a papercut match to the death, this game is an absolute hoot; and all at an extremely reasonable price tag.
As far as I'm concerned, the two best original games for the Nintendo Switch are The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Snipperclips. The latter isn't as spectacular as the former, but it's still a great game.
