Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris Reviews
Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris disappoints providing a short campaign with a sporadic narrative.
For better or worse, Curse of Osiris is more of the same.
Unless you've already bought this as part of a season pass, don't waste your money on Curse of Osiris until Bungie actually changes direction, and I'm not talking about executing their proposed changes which painfully miss the mark yet again. The base game of Destiny 2 is a great shooter for 50-60 hours of solid content on your first play through of a redemptive story. But there is no endgame to keep going beyond that and there isn't anything packaged into this DLC than enhances that initial experience. At this point, if you're desperate for a looter/shooter then either fire up Destiny 1 again, watch Anthem videos on YouTube and hope for a brighter Q4 2018, or else maybe go give the Division a chance. It had a dumpster fire launch but can be had on the cheap now and I hear it's become a very good game in its current state.
Seeing how Bungie approached the Destiny 2 expansion matter, I have low expectations from the next DLC that should arrive in the coming months and you should too.
Curse of Osiris offers little as far as content is concerned. The brief campaign is forgettable and treated more like hold-over content than a proper full expansion. The only real redeeming feature about Curse of Osiris are the Raid Lairs.
Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris - not a bad expansion, which once again reminds us that the Bungie artists are one of the most talented in the industry. Shooting elemets are still great, but the reuse of content, a story full of monstrous dialogues and lack of motivation to play further after going through all the activities can disappoint old fans and players who have been waiting for new content for a long time. Now we can only hope that the real epic in the scale of The Taken King lies ahead...

Curse Of Osiris Is very fun on the first playthrough, however playing through the story on a second or third character can be very tiresome and not very fun. The raid is the biggest addition to this DLC and is the best part, if you haven't already bought the season pass and are on the fence just think, did I enjoy Crota's End? If the answer is yes then I highly recommend this DLC. If you played Destiny 2 for its story, then this DLC will disappoint you and I can't recommend it to you.
Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris feels like rushed DLC that was never expected to fix what the glaring problems with the base game. Rather than attempt anything, the lazy additions come off as what would in any other game be added in a free content patch, a skeletal selection of missions and events that are both minuscule in scope and forgettable at the same time.
Sadly, Destiny 2 : Curse of Osiris offers a really short and unsatisfying campaign. The story is unengaging and the whole content feels a bit weak, even if the new raid deserves to be tried.

Far from fixing some of the endgame problems with Destiny 2, Curse of Osiris gave us a disappointing campaign, short contents and mediocre activities.

The Curse of Osiris lives on highs and lows: on the one hand the quality of the contents, on the other the quantity, too small to represent a consistent introduction capable of shifting the balance.

A lacklustre first offering that gets by on a few star turns and the same stirling gunplay.
This DLC falls flat like its story, Don't expect major changes, it just gives more of what the players of Destiny want.

Consistently failing to meet the potential visible in any of its currently-slight content, Curse of Orisis does not satisfy as an expansion in its own right, or as an addition to the wider Destiny 2 ecosystem.
Curse of Osiris doesn't really do anything to enhance the Destiny 2 experience, aside from the new raid and some nice quality of life upgrades.
It's disappointing because the foundation is there. I can't help but feel that there just wasn't enough time to fully flesh this expansion out.
Destiny 2's first expansion Curse of Osiris could've been a unique opportunity to tell an exciting story around a legendary figure of the lore, but instead added a disappointing amount of new content and bland story. It still is worth some praise on the front of couple of area's artistic direction, the new raid and some weapons, but even as a big fan of Destiny, it's hard for me to recommend buying this expansion.
Destiny 2 and its expansions are all tough to review for this very reason. I've got some frustrations with Curse of Osiris–mostly with the lackluster campaign and unvaried patrol space—but it has largely pulled me back in to my traditional weekly ritual of completing various milestones in Destiny 2. How long that will last remains to be seen, but the immediate future looks promising.
The stupid DLC - is expensive and does not offer for its price almost nothing good. It remains only to regret those who hurried and spent on the season ticket.

Whether this will suffice to keep players engaged until the next expansion hits remains to be seen. I think it's safe to assume the potential for randomised rolls on weapons and perks will be ameliorated by Bungie's heavy-handed approach to the weapons system for the sake of striking a balance between PvE and PvP.
