Critic Reviews for Fearful Symmetry & the Cursed Prince

It's a visual style that's been borrowed before and will likely be borrowed again – not necessarily a bad thing, but not very original either.

Fearful Symmetry & The Cursed Prince is a very good puzzle game, thanks to the original gameplay dynamics and an excellent level design that takes advantage of their possibilities. We'd have loved some more puzzles that could have highlighted the different characters, but in this case the prize is definitely right, for a well-done brain teaser (9.99 $ for both PC and Xbox versions).

A simply but funny puzzle game based on symmetry, developed by Gamera Interactive (Unit 4 and the highly anticipated Alaloth: Champions of the Four Kingdoms). Not bad at all.

It isn't an essential game by any means, then, but for puzzle fans Fearful Symmetry & The Cursed Prince is well worth checking out.

I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed Fearful Symmetry & the Cursed Prince and how it kept me coming back.

Fearful Symmetry & The Cursed Prince is overpriced game that can deliver a nice gameplay experience if we omit the fact that it makes us play levels over and over again. The only difference is placement of traps.

Fearful Symmetry & The Cursed Prince provides a very challenging and entertaining 2D puzzle experience to fans of the genre, requiring a mix of reflexes, timing, memory, and multitasking in order to beat the game. It’s gets a little frustrating at times, but it only adds to that feeling satisfaction once you finish a level.
