I really enjoyed The Curse of the Pharaohs, because it was a lot of fun to explore the brand new map. The team at Ubisoft really outdid themselves with how beautiful the Afterlife looked, and the new enemy types.

After the more or less mediocre first DLC of Assassin's Creed Origins Ubisoft surprises with an excellent second one. The Curse of the Pharaohs lets you explore the new region of Thebes, including the Valley of the Kings and even the afterlife. In an interesting and well executed twist you get to explore several depictions of the afterworld and even get to fight mystical creatures like mummies or giant scorpions. Despite the atypical storyline, it never feels weird or out-of-place. Because of all side-activities, points of interest and strong end bosses you won't get bored during your 18 hour adventure.

Curse of the Pharaohs offers an interesting new storyline, focusing on the controversial Akhenaten and Nefertiti. Include that with new abilities, sidequests and characters and you have quite the package for twenty euros.
