Eye of the Storm is a tremendous finale to The Pillars of the Earth on PS4 and one which underscores the series commitment to grounded storytelling, sophisticated characters and mature storylines.

Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth is a great series, with an enjoyable first act, a profoundly good second, and a rather disappointing third. While it's still a good story, Book Three just doesn't know what to give time to. Stories that should have been wrapped up quicker get much more time, and moments that should have been given more weight are rushed. It doesn't tarnish the first two books all that much, but it is sad to see this story go out on such a low note. Still, the time spent with the series is definitely a treat and, overall, the entire series is one of the best adventure games to come out in some time.

The third book of Pillars of the Earth by Daedelic Entertainment is a worthy finale for a great episodic narrative game. Every scene is perfectly depicted and even voice actors reach new surprising heights. Overall the game is splendid as the cathedral made in this story.

The third and last installment of The Pillars of the Earth invests heavily in its narrative, bringing a cohesive closure to the story, filled with struggle, surprise and emotion. On the other hand, this also results in little interactivity for the player, limited to making dialogue decisions and a few opportunities for exploration. As a whole, the game is a positive recommendation due to the beauty in its art and good story, a bold adaptation to the epic saga created by Ken Follet, changing events and even the destiny of some characters when compared to the original work.

Book 3 of the most popular Ken Follet's story brings the story to an end. Despite slow beginning, the ending provides an experience similar to the best of Telltale's works. It's best suited for both casual and hardened players looking for a good story and a bit of moving relaxation.
