Critic Reviews for Destination Primus Vita – Episode 1

I wish that we got to know Austin a little more, but this is only the first chapter. It will be interesting to see how she comes across in the other chapters as we get to know her from their perspectives. Overall, this is a strong start to the series that shows a lot of promise depending on how it weaves together all the characters' stories.

I thought the emotional arc of Austin's story was fantastic, both narratively satisfying and visually stunning, and I personally look forward to playing the next chapter.

Destination Primus Vita's first episode makes a strong impression, with a captivating story and puzzles that take some thought but aren't too harsh. It provides a steady balance of narrative mystery and challenging quests, and I can't wait to see what the other episodes will reveal.

My final score on Primus Vita is a seven out of ten. The game has an excellent foundation, amazing character development, and an intriguing narrative. As such, I look forward to the other character episodes. After all, I need to save Earth!

Destination Primus Vita is a real mix-bag of doing some things really well and uniquely, as well as doing a lot very bland and boring. I hope Episode Two can improve the weaker elements and explain why players should look forward to the next episode and not leave you wondering why you should care. Playing this though, I did go read the two comics released so far -- so I am onboard for the adventure to get our water back -- but why does the game feel like the spin-off story, not the other way around?

Overall, this first episode of Destination Primus Vita shows promise. It stumbles with a few pacing issues, nebulous directions and some often dull puzzle sections.
