Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Video Game 2 conforms to the general annual update mandate. There is a new roster, some tracks, a few graphical tweaks and a whole lot of the same returning content. Unless this is your first outing, best wait for next year to see something more substantial.
Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Video Game is in the middle of the pack of Milestone S.r.l games. It's not fun or amazing or even disappointing. It might actually be unique for players who aren't into this genre though technical issues, lack of variety and risk stops this from being an incredible game

Monster Energy Supercross 2 is quite possibly the best Supercross game that's out right now. The stellar, true to feel motorcycle racing, and hard charging soundtrack keeps the adrenaline high. Some problems existed with sound anomalies and seemingly inconsistent landing dynamics, but the solid game play and career mode will keep players coming back. Multiplayer modes are very simplistic, but custom games and creating your own track will add additional replay ability for major Supercross fans.
A good game that will please almost every motocross fan that wants to reprise the real life tournaments.

Monster Energy Supercross 2 definitely seems to simulate the event well and does so with solid performance that is enhanced with great visuals.
If it were a game made 10 years ago, it would have been adequate, but it feels so antiquated compared to the racing games of today that it just doesn’t offer as much value.
Fans of racing games and motocross will be satisfied by Monster Energy Supercross 2. Some gameplay mechanics and modes might be in need of revision but Monster Energy Supercross 2 is still a great game to have a virtual dive into the world of motocross racing.

Monster Energy Supercross 2 really does right the wrongs committed by its predecessor’s Switch outing.
Monster Energy Supercross 2 is a good sequel. It greatly enhances the career mode and gives it a lot more dynamism. Driving sensations are also on a good path with better feelings and good technicality, despite an arcade side revealed by some collisions issues. Pretty, fun, and easy to access despite greater depth, Milestone's production has been able to capitalize positively on bases that had good potential. It still has to tweak his multiplayer mode to keep the distance. See you in 2020 for a must-have ?

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 2 is a vast improvement in many ways upon the first game. The inclusion of a track editor, the reinstatement of online multiplayer and the sheer level of authenticity on offer will impress both longtime supercross fans and casuals looking to spray mud on two wheels. Visually, it's a noticeable step up and while it does occasionally chug, the frame rate holds fast most of the time. It's just a shame those monstrously long loading times and a needlessly grindy unlock system takes away some of its shine.

In the end, Monster Energy Supercross 2 will intrigue veterans of the series with its deeper career mode, rhythm gameplay, and authentic AMA Motocross Championship presentation. Meanwhile, casual racing fans can hop in and have a lot of fun with the easy to learn controls and compound mode, however bugs and long load times will frustrate everyone.
If you’re more of a casual racing fan looking for something different, it might scratch that itch, especially if you prefer more simulation-style racers over arcade racers.
Overall I think Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 2 is something that has been made for the enthusiasts and players who are already fans of the sport. Despite the smooth slick presentation, I’m not sure many new converts will be won over to the sport, as its not really a game you can just pick up and play.
Is it a fun racing experience? Absolutely. Are there a bevvy of options to choose from? Yes! Maybe I set my expectations a bit too high or wished that there would be something new and exciting to set Monster Energy 2 apart. Nevertheless, it is still the definitive supercross racing experience on consoles. Anyone still helmets-deep into Monster Supercross 1 might feel content holding off on a day one purchase, everyone else should have no hesitations stepping into the arena.
Monster Energy Supercross 2 recreates the spot admirably and has enough depth to the gameplay to satisfy even the more hardcore fans, but it's held back by bugs, inconsistent production values, and barebones modes that lack variety.
Monster Energy Supercross 2 is a fun supercross experience which touches on some great career options. The game will always leave you wanting just one more race, which is a great sign of an arcade motorcross game.
