Critic Reviews for The Last Door: Complete Edition

Don't let the massively blocky visuals fool you - The Last Door: Complete Edition is one of the atmospheric titles to come out in quite some time and one of the very best point and click adventure games the PS4 can offer right now. Don't sleep on this one.

The Last Door, Collector’s edition is a great game that in my opinion is fully deserving of it’s accolades, and offers fantastic value for money for anyone who love the classic point and click adventure, or loves to be spooked by a game.

A fantastic adventure game that uses the timeless point & click genre in the most exciting way possible, with music and a constant oppressive atmosphere that, together, create an unforgettable adventure.

I can only highly recommend giving this pampered adventure a try that has not only a great personality but all the ingredients of the greats of the genre.

The Last Door: Complete Edition became The Game Kitchen's gateway to the video game market and set a good precedent on which to continue building and refining (something we have seen in Blasphemous or hope to see in its already announced future sequel). ). With a fair but evocative graphic style, a supernatural story that draws on the great classics of literature is proposed and is intriguing in each of the episodes that compose it. Remembering the classic point & click adventures, the puzzles become the source of progress, with a somewhat easy difficulty at the beginning, but that will increase as the adventure unfolds. All this, seasoned with the magnificent music of Carlos Viola.
