Critic Reviews for Total War: Warhammer 2 - The Shadow and the Blade
Creative Assembly delivers one of the best DLC packs for the Total War: Warhammer series yet.
Is Malus Darkblade done justice? As a character, yes. But while his campaign is decent, Snikch's is one of the weaker we've seen in these Lord packs, lacking some of CA's usual focus in mechanics and theme.
What should’ve been an interesting conflict between two very aggressive factions turns into a cakewalk due to Warhammer II’s lack of diplomacy nuance. This coupled with expansions such as “The Prophet and The Warlock” makes “The Shadow & The Blade” a solid, albeit disappointing entry in the Total War: Warhammer II saga.
