With the Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack, the entire library of PlayStation 3 Atelier games is now playable on modern systems. While the Arland trilogy broke ground by being the first 3D entries in the franchise, the Atelier Dusk games trade technical innovation for narrative, introducing a strikingly solemn and mysterious world inhabited by gorgeously designed characters that won't be soon forgotten by anyone who plays these games.

The Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack brings three excellent Atelier games to modern systems with most of the previous DLC and while these are great entry points to the series, the ports could have been better.

An attractive trio of JRPG titles given a new lease of life with polished audiovisual presentation and a range of quality of life fixes, there's no better entry point to the Ateiler franchise than this highly enjoyable trilogy for newcomers. However, previous players of these games will find little to return to them as the range of improvements are ultimately meagre.

The world setting of the Dusk Trilogy is one of the bleakest of all the Atelier games but that doesn't mean that it's a depressing story. The enthusiastic and endearing alchemists persevere through this dark world to create a warm uplifting tale that's sure to put a smile on your face. All three games will see you exploring, crafting, and battling monsters but there are plenty of differences between each game that keep things really engaging and a real pleasure to play though.

Playing in the Dusk world from start to finish, self-contained with no other influences is a much better entry point for me.

Despite not being the franchises best, Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack is still an extremely enjoyable experience. This adventure starts with whimsy and ends in a way that brings the seemingly random stuff together. Toss in some cute enemies, multiple endings, plenty to see and do and it's easy to have fun with it. Sure, none of them really break the mold or offer much different from previous adventure but for fans or someone looking for a different kind of RPG, it's worth, if nothing else, check out.

Atelier Dusk Trilogy is a good chance for those who missed these episodes to get back to the Dusk setting; however, newcomers may find better outings in the most recent episodes of the Atelier series.

If you already own some of these, or if crafting isn't your cup of tea, that's something to consider. But if you're an RPG fan, the Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack is well worth the time and money spent, and will be enjoyed.

Overall, Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack is a trilogy that is worthy of a lot more time from me and I intend to give them more time soon. I have enjoyed every aspect of the games and the story has especially pulled me in. At $89.99 USD you can purchase the game on PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch, and you won't be disappointed. You get three games for a decent price. I hope you have fun playing.

Though fans who have played these already may find the investment hard to justify, the Atelier Dusk games present probably the single best entry point for newcomers to the series currently.

The Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack is expensive, but that $90 is probably the best JRPG bang for your buck that you can get on the PS4. It contains three excellent games that all offer a huge amount of content. None of them are flawless, but they are charming, cute, and incredibly easy to pick up and play. If you're a fan of the Atelier franchise or are just looking for some light, casual JRPGs to play, this is the collection you want.

The series on the whole is a great throwback to the older Mana Khemia series. Ayesha is the weakest entry, graphically, story and gameplay wise, but things improve drastically with Escha and Logy, with a serious, "cool" factor to Logy, with the series coming to a very refined closure with Shallie. For JRPG fans that have any interest in those, they are a great pickup together. While not quite "traditional" RPG quests, they are very similar to the JRPGs that really first started getting popular in the West many years ago.

A set of interesting RPGs set in a unique, fascinating world. Imagery that will stay with you long after you stop playing. Tried and tested combat is a shame but the interesting crafting is worth a look.

Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack is an incredible collection of three great games that were somewhat forgotten on the PS3 and now arrive for a new (and bigger) audience that finally can appreciate its incredible charm, beautiful narrative, fantastic art direction and, specially, charismatic and memorable characters.

If you are looking to pick up an Atelier game for the first time, I can quite easily recommend Atelier Ayesha as a brilliant JRPG in it’s own right, but also a fantastic jumping on point in the series, and the Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack is a great way to play the trilogy on current-gen hardware.
