The next Apex Legends event has been announced, and will bring a bunch of new modes with it.

The latest Apex Legends event, the Grand Soiree Arcade Event, begins on January 14th. It will end on January 28th. The event will include seven modes for players to dive into. Each mode will be available one at a time, with a new mode rotating in every two days.

The first mode is Gold Rush Duos, which arms teams of two with Legendary tier weapons only. The second is Live.Die.Live, which automatically respawns all fallen players when the ring closes. The third mode is Third-Person Mode, which has gamers shooting it out in third-person. The fourth mode is Always Be Closing, which sees the ring constantly closing in, forcing squads to move or face severe damage. The fifth mode is Armed and Dangerous on World's Edge, which arms players with shotguns and snipers only on World's Edge. The sixth mode is Kings Canyon After Dark, which puts squads on Kings Canyon at night. Finally, the seventh mode is Dummies Big Day, which transforms all characters into dummy-looking 3D renders.

Each limited time mode will have three new challenges that are worth a total of 1,000 points. Those who try every mode will receive a badge. Players will be able to complete their battle pass challenges during the event.

Like previous events, the Grand Soiree will have a direct purchase shop that will include a mix of legendary skins, as well as other Art Deco inspired cosmetics for $5. The skins will rotate during the event, so players should check back often for new items to purchase. There will also be six new Legendary skins that will be added to the core loot pool at the start of the Grand Soiree, which can be crafted or obtained from Apex Packs at any time or available for direct purchase throughout the event.

There will be a Bonus Scoring weekend during the event, where players will be able to grab an additional set of event-specific challenges that are worth a total of 500 points. The Bonus Scoring Weekend will begin on January 17th at 10:00 a.m. PST, and will run through January 20th at 10:00 a.m. PST.
