The venerable franchise where you can make people die in the pool from exhaustion boasts over 80 million players. Today in their Fiscal Year report, EA announced that The Sims now has over 80 million players between PC and mobile platforms. This is of course, likely bolstered by the popular new Sims Mobile game that EA launched on March 7th.

The Sims 4 has stirred up some controversy, despite the amount of players, for charging people for DLC to an expansion in recent months. Still, people love to build those dream houses, make whoopee, and use the Rosebud cheat whenever necessary.
