We have received a good look at the new characters coming to Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath

In the latest gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, we get to see the expansions three new characters, Sheeva, Fujin, and Robocop, in action. The trailer, which can be seen here, shows off the characters in-game. We get to see some of their combos and techniques, including previews of their Fatal Blows. We also get glimpses of the three characters's fatalities, which get incredibly brutal. This includes Sheeva ripping off Sindel's arms and Robocop blowing up Baraka. The trailer also shows off a couple of the new Stage Fatalities, which are being added to the game when Aftermath releases.

Aftermath is a full-on expansion for Mortal Kombat 11. Along with the three new characters, Aftermath includes a new story campaign, continuing the plot of the original game. The story will pick up right after Liu Kang defeats Kronika, and is about to create a new timeline. He is stopped by Shang Tsung, who states that he cannot do so without Kronika's crown, which was destroyed during her battle with Liu Kang. Thus, Shang Tsung is sent back in time to retrieve the crown before Kronika even possessed it.

Also coming to Mortal Kombat 11 through Aftermath are new stages, as well as the aforementioned Stage Fatalities. Aftermath will also be introducing Friendship finishers, which include Scorpion using his hook to pull in a teddy bear and Kano starting a BBQ. The new stages, Friendship finishers, and Stage Fatalities will all be added to Mortal Kombat 11 through a free update the same day that Aftermath goes on sale.

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will release digitally on May 26th. A physical edition of the game will be released in June. Gamers will be able to buy the expansion on its own, or as a bundle with the original game and Kombat Pack.
