We will be getting a look at the upcoming title Marvel's Avengers next month.
On Twitter, it was revealed that a WAR TABLE stream will be held for Marvel's Avengers on June 24th. According to a trailer featured in the tweet, the team behind the game have reassembled at home to work on the title. Despite the ongoing threat of the coronavirus, the trailer for the upcoming stream in the tweet states that the team behind Marvel's Avengers are focused on their mission to complete the upcoming title. The stream will show off new gameplay for the game, as well as its co-op.
"We thank you for your continued passion and support while we've adjusted to developing Marvel's Avengers from our homes," developer Crystal Dynamics tweeted. "We know how eager you are for new gameplay so here is a sneak peak. See you in June for our inaugural Marvel's Avengers WAR TABLE stream!"
Marvel's Avengers takes place after a tragedy that occurred in San Francisco that the team was blamed for. The Avengers were disbanded, and Super Heroes were outlawed. When a new threat arises, and the team must come together once again to face it. The game will feature familiar superheroes such as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and the Hulk. It will also feature lesser known Avengers members such as Kamala Khan's Ms. Marvel, who will be a main focus in the game. The tweet that revealed the upcoming gameplay stream did show off the fact that characters will have a number of different costumes, as they show Iron Man in a number of different armors.
Marvel's Avengers will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 4th. The game was set to release this month, but was delayed to allow the team behind it to have more time for polishing.
