Horizon Zero Dawn will be released on PC on August 7th. The game will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. The title will cost gamers $49.99. Horizon can be pre-purchased right now on both platforms.

The PC version of Horizon will be the "Complete Edition." This means that the game will come with the huge The Frozen Wilds expansion. This includes the Carja Storm Ranger Outfit and Carja Mighty Bow, the Banuk Trailblazer Outfit and Banuk Culling Bow, a digital art book, and more.

A trailer was released for the PC version of Horizon (which can be seen here), and revealed a number of additions that are being made to the game for the PC version. This includes ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked frame rates, and dynamic foliage. There will also be a number of graphical customization options and controller options. Finally, there will be a benchmarking tool.

Horizon Zero Dawn was originally released for the PlayStation 4 in 2017. The game follows Aloy, an young hunter who has been outcasted from her tribe. She fights to uncover her past, discover her destiny, and stop a catastrophic threat to the future. The game won multiple awards the year that it was released, and holds a Mighty Rating on OpenCritic. A sequel was announced for the game recently, entitled Horizon Forbidden West, and will release on the PlayStation 5. The game does not currently have a release date at this moment.
