Xbox Live Gold members will be able to play a few games for free this weekend.
On the Xbox Wire, it was announced that Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to play Injustice 2 and NASCAR Heat 5 for free this weekend through the service's Free Play Days. The free weekend begins today, and will end on Sunday, August 16th at 11:59 p.m. PST. Gamers can also play The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for free at the moment. The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited will be free until Wednesday, August 19th at 7:00 a.m. PDT.
Those who want to keep the games featured this weekend can do so at a discount. The standard edition of Injustice 2 will be on sale for $9.99, while the Ultimate Pack will cost $7.99. Gamers will be able to pick up the standard edition of NASCAR Heat 5 for $39.99, while the Gold Edition will set players back $55.99. Finally, The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited will be on sale for $10.
Xbox Live Gold members also have a few other games that they can play this month through Games With Gold, which are available to anyone with an Xbox Live Gold membership. The four games are Portal Knights, Override: Mech City Brawl, MX Unleashed, and Red Faction II. Portal Knights is available now, and will be available to claim until August 31st. Override: Mech City Brawl will be available on August 16th, and will stick around until September 15th. MX Unleashed is available now, and will leave the service on August 15th. Finally, Red Faction II will be available from August 16th to August 31st.
Xbox Free Play Days are available for all Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. These events allow players to try out games for free, with progression carrying over if a gamer decides to purchase one of the featured titles.
