On September 13th, Jurassic World Evolution will be getting a big, free update that will include a number of new features including:

  • Challenge Mode - a separate component from Story Mode that places players on Isla Nublar with little money and new ways to play. Players can set a difficulty level anywhere from easy to Jurassic. They will also find new mechanics such as completion times, contract cancellation penalties and more. Players will unlock new skins, achievements and trophies.
  • Isla Nublar is the sandbox island with more ways to customize gameplay through the Options Menu. "A few exciting additions are the lifespan toggle (dinosaurs no longer die of old age), cash level toggle (decide how much cash is available to you), various difficulty settings (dinosaur variety, rating, guest count, and economics), feeder resupply toggle (no more pesky ranger jobs!), and power toggle (no power stations or power requirements needed, as well as no power outages)."
  • Once reaching 5 stars on each island during Career Mode, new lighting options will be added such as default, dawn, dusk, and night.
  • new contract types in all Divisions
  • new camera feeatures
  • Korean and Italian localized support
  • several dinosaurs are getting size adjustments
  • camera zoom, research / incubation cancellation option, gene reversal option, new dinosaur bio info in the Genome Library and more
