The crowdfunding campaign for Shenmue III has wrapped up and boy was it successful. Developer Ys Net has brought in over seven million dollars that includes nearly 70,000 backers on KickStarter. According to the ambitious development cycle, fans can look for it in August 2019.
Developers noted that Shenmue III brought in over $7M in crowdfunding across several campaigns, the most successful being KickStarter which generated over $6M in pledges alone.
