In a new interview over at Kotaku, God of War Game Director Cory Barlog has said that he's got 5 more games planned for the series. Think about it...if each takes 5 years, that's another 25 years of Kratos-loving happiness for fans of the series, though Barlog definitely wants to speed up the process.
"No, I want to figure out how to make these things faster, man." Barlog said.
He cites God of War's development cycle as being so long due to having to start from scratch. While the core engine was in place, a lot of things had to be redone including the combat engine.
The bottom line is this: If you love the God of War series, especially the critically-acclaimed 2018 game, then the news that more is coming can only be good.
