The Google Stadia launch will begin at 9 am Pacific time on November 19th and it will be available first to the earliest adopters of the Founder's Edition. The release date was officially revealed at the company's Made by Google event held in New York this morning. Pre-orders for the Founder's Edition, which includes a Stadia controller, a Chromecast Ultra, three months of Stadia Pro, and a Buddy Pass for Stadia Pro, will arrive on doorsteps according to when they were purchased, so the earliest adopters will see their Stadia packages arrive sooner than some others.

The company did not say for how long this arrival window extends, though they did mention consumers will get a tracking email when it's on the way and soon after receive a code to activate their Stadia account and Stadia Pro memberships, of which three months is included in the Founder's Edition.

Stadia Pro includes access to Destiny 2: The Collection, which bundles together Destiny 2 and all of its post-launch content. Other games available on the platform for purchase on day one include Rockstar's western epic Red Dead Redemption 2, Mortal Kombat 11, and GYLT, which comes from the same studio behind games such as RiME and The Invisible Hours and is launching exclusively on Google Stadia.

Stadia is a game streaming service that can be played on a variety of devices, such as your TV, desktop, laptop, and some tablets and phones, namely the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 3a X. The full lineup of announced games and compatible devices can be found on stadia.com. Google promises anyone with download speeds over 10 Mbps will be able to reliably stream games via Stadia, though if you want to play with the highest settings Stadia offers like 4K and HDR, you'll need a compatible device, internet speeds of at least 35 Mbps, a Stadia Pro membership, and a Chromecast Ultra device.
