Customizing your pirate ship in Sea of Thieves can be expensive, so it's important to take a freebie when you can. Rare is currently offering a complete set of ship liveries for free, and if you're a Gears 5 fan especially, you won't want to miss them. The crossover cosmetics, called the Omen Ship set, includes sails, a figurehead, a hull paint job, and a crow's nest flag all decked out in iconic Gears red. The sails even include the skull seen all over The Coalition's flagship franchise while the figurehead gives your ship the appearance of a giant lancer with the chainsaw attachment.

The cosmetic pack is only available until November 22. To unlock the pack, simply log into a game of Sea of Thieves anytime between now and then. If you want more free Gears and Sea of Thieves stuff, tune into Microsoft's X019 event today at noon Pacific. Anyone who watches the livestream via Mixer while logged into their Microsoft account will receive free $5 to spend in Gears POP!, as well as an Obsidian Captain's Wheel for Sea of Thieves. If you've been nabbing free Sea of Thieves cosmetics at every opportunity, you already have many other Obsidian items in your inventory, so the new Captain's Wheel allows you to nearly complete the look.

Microsoft's X019 is billed as a "global celebration of all things Xbox" and, according to GM of Marketing Aaron Greenberg, will focus largely on games today, with 2020 being more devoted to Project Scarlett. The event kicks off at 12 pm Pacific and is expected to unveil new Xbox Game Pass titles, at least one new game announcement, updates on Project xCloud, and, according to one usually reliable source, new IP reveals from Rare and Obsidian, as well as 2020 release dates for other Xbox Game Studios projects. You can follow the show on Mixer right here.
