Console gamers will soon have access to PC-exclusive Red Dead Redemption 2 content.
Rockstar has released the previously PC-exclusive Story Mode updates on the PlayStation 4, as well as the Moonshiners update for Red Dead Online. These updates will release for the Xbox One version of the game on January 21st, 2020.
The update includes new bounty hunter missions and gang hideouts. The "To the Ends of the Earth" mission will be available with the update, as well as the Landmarks of Riches and The Elemental Trail treasure maps.
New weapons will include the M1899 Pistol, Evans Repeater, High Roller Revolver, and LeMat Revolver. New horses include the Warped Brindle Arabian, Few Spot Appalossa, Perlino Andalusian, and Red Chestnut Arabian. There will also be more hidden trinkets: the Hawk Talon, Cat Eye, Shark Tooth, Turtle Shell, and Crow Beak.
Finally, there will be a Photo Mode. This gives players free-form camera movement that allows them to take photos of their environment. Stickers, filters, and text can be added to the photos before uploading them to the Rockstar Social Club.
Players can receive a free care package in Red Dead Online at the moment. The care package is available to those who play the PC version of the game throughout the holidays. The package comes with an assortment of helpful items, including ammo, fire arrows, Potent Miracle Tonic, Horse Revivers, and Baked Beans.
Last week, a new update was released for Red Dead Online, allowing players to get into the moonshining business. The update released of PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. Those who choose the role of moonshiner will have to perfect their distillation method, avoid the law, and take out their rivals. The update also comes with new decor options, such as a country band and dance floor. There is also the new Navy Revolver, new clothing options, and an increase in the amount of outfit slots in the Wardrobe.
