The best football sim to date.
SteamWorld Heist is one of the most charming, playful, glorious games you will play this year and cannot come recommended enough. Go on, treat yourself.
Huge, well-crafted and as crazy as always D00D!
A Kobe beef steak served on a silver platter.
A really well written story with best fleshed out character ever seen in the franchise. Wonderful from start to finish.
One of this year's easy contenders for game of the year, and for less than £16. That's what, a curry and pint?
Blues and Bullets is a showcase in how to open the story of an episodic videogame.
Max and Chloe's adventure comes to an excellent end.
A wonderful entrant in the series that has gotten better with age.
Link Between Worlds ran the risk of being nothing more than a nostalgic trip down memory lane, revisiting one of the most beloved games in the series, thankfully Nintendo have manage to couple the LTTP memories with some of the best, more unique design seen in the Zelda series in quite a while. If the more handholding nature of recent Zelda games has dampened your enjoyment then the open world nature of Link Between Worlds will be a blessing. In a holiday season dominated with next-gen talk, Nintendo have come out and shown that resolution and graphical power mean nothing without games. And that’s what this is, a damn great game.
Summary – No lamp or wishes required, it’s already just about perfect.
So what of Fez? Who is it for? The answer to that is everyone. If you haven't played before, then you must pick it up instantly, hell even if you played and completed, it is the sort of game that you will be happy to play through again. If you get it on PSN, you don't even need to settle on a single platform, what we can say is that the PSN release if the definitive version of Fez. Stop what you are doing and buy it now.
Diablo III was always decent with the basic mechanics, but it did have many issues that veterans of the series didn't like, but the Ultimate Evil Edition has ironed those issues out and produced one of the best co-operative games you can ever hope to play.
Bastion is a wonderful way to kick off the Summer Of Arcade and one that will be very hard to match from the other four titles. A mix of wonderful art, sumptuous sounds and deep involving gameplay make this one of the best XBLA games of the year.
Seven years after its first appearance and Okami feels just as fresh now as it did back in 2006.
Another good episode in the Life is Strange series.
A great prequel to last year's surprise hit.
Officially an 8/10, but for this reviewer it is a 10/10 game, warts and all.
A perfect storm of elements come together to make a wonderful and challenging experience.
A very clever and well crafted game. The constant climb up the castle and gradual revelation of the mystery within it are engaging and will likely keep you striving until you reach the end.
