7.2 / 10.0 - Watch Dogs
May 17, 2014

Watch Dogs is a great game that has a lot to do in the singleplayer but the multiplayer is painfully repetitive and not fun. The game stands on its own as a great singleplayer free roam but one that is outshined by Grand Theft Auto V.

Short, but sweet, A Story About My Uncle proves that a game doesn't have to engross you with dozens of hours of content in order to sell itself as a worthwhile experience.

Always sometimes monsters is a peculiar title. It manages to tell an interesting story, which is lucky considering it is little more than an interactive novel.

5.2 / 10.0 - Infinity Runner

It's the epitome of junk food gaming. Unfortunately, it doesn't have that hook to make it something addictive enough to come back to time and again.

It does enough in way of tasking players with approaching puzzle solving in ways they aren't accustomed to and, in doing so, more than justifies its place on the shelf and offers something a bit different for players.

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor is simply a worthy Lord of the Rings title that stands as a title in its own right apart from the movies, but a title that honors the movies nonetheless.

7 / 10.0 - NBA 2K15
Oct 7, 2014

NBA 2K15 is a great title for those that can bear the design flaws of this new entry in the series. For those who cannot look past game or immersion-breaking features, it may be worth just a rental.

6.6 / 10.0 - The Evil Within
Oct 14, 2014

The Evil Within seems to be a title that tries for too much but falls flat in everything it attempts to do. Jump-scares are still fun in the title, but The Evil Within largely creates an uninteresting gameplay environment that is plagued with issues in it's storyline, mission structure, character development, and as such - fails to achieve itself as a title that lives up to Shinji Mikami's preceding reputation as the former director of Resident Evil 4.

Assassin's Creed Unity does so much good for the Revolution and also does some things that are not so great for the Revolution. If you are an Asssassin's Creed fan this decent title might be worth the purchase.

7.8 / 10.0 - Far Cry 4
Nov 15, 2014

Far Cry 4 is a visually beautiful game that borrows elements from Far Cry 3 and improves upon them, but the sad and lackluster storyline keep it from being worth the price of a full purchase.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is the best title in the franchise and inevitably will have players fighting the incredible and nostalgia-fueled cast from Nintendo's franchise lore.

Dragon Age: Inquisition has a terrific single-player campaign with quests that are truly memorable in its main storyline. While the title is not truly open-world and has an almost disposable multiplayer, the single-player is its strongest portion and one that is done incredibly well.

8 / 10.0 - Dying Light
Feb 14, 2015

Dying Light is a thrill to play for any zombie enthusiast or someone who simply loves Shaun of The Dead without the comedy. It is a title which will leave you wanting more for good reason, and even though it falls short in aspects, it is a fun and solid zombie apocalyptic game.

8.6 / 10.0 - Evolve
Feb 18, 2015

Evolve captures the imagination of our childhood and brings it to life. It does so with a complete sense of being there, as much as can be had in a game. It's great, but perhaps a bit too expensive.

9.6 / 10.0 - Bloodborne

The best title of this generation, and easily the best game on the PS4. The immense drive you get to explore its desolate, yet beautiful world, is almost unprecedented. Bloodborne is a true essential for any PS4 owner, and the best reason so far to purchase Sony's system. An Exemplary Gothic Masterpiece!
