Chariot is a charming, quirky game that once again proves that you don't need the financial backing of a small country in order to deliver an entertaining, fun experience at a more than fair price.
Overall though these few gripes hardly take away from the fun and enjoyment that you'll get if you play this game.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is a must own title on any platform and a genuine contender for Game of the Year.
There have been many games based on the Alien series over the years, but Alien: Isolation is the first that truly does justice to the original movie.
I don't know how the developers did it, but they have the horror game experience down to a tee. One thing is for certain, no vido game is perfect, but for me this is as close as you can get in the horror genre.
The game was already a winner in my book. With a compelling story, engaging gameplay and a heap of additional content this'll keep you busy for hours, although the minor niggles still exist and there aren't any changes that are major enough to warrant a re-release in my opinion. This is clearly meant for those who missed it first time around and for those people I highly recommend it.
If you plan on creating, then you will want to buy the Starter Pack to give yourself a headstart but the basic game is free and will give you access to the entire library of community created games, that alone makes Project Spark a title that should be on everyone's Xbox One.
Even though there are numerous heavy hitting triple-A titles coming out in the next few weeks it is certainly worth checking out Flippfly's baby, Race The Sun.
Maybe one day we will get a game that lives up to the show. This isn't it.
If you're a fan of the series and you're not short of money, then Beyond Earth is worth getting. Otherwise, wait for a sale or buy Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri instead.
The voice acting is superb as well, the comedic timing is spot on and the writing really doesn't put a foot wrong.
Even though there are a lot of heavy hitters coming out in the next few weeks may sure to keep an eye on the wonderful Minutes; it maybe short, but it is certainly sweet.
A career mode and better reward system would be welcome additions to the series and the way dance moves are registered and scored still has its flaw but at its core Just Dance 2015 is a fun, energetic party title with a great variety of songs that will keep you and your friends entertained for hours as you dazzle each other with world class moves that even JT himself would be proud of or would have him rolling on the floor laughing.
It doesn't lend itself to prolonged play but it's perfect for a little time killing.
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is not just a treat for existing fans, it's an brilliant example of how to do a remake, and a fantastic game in its own right.
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare breathes fresh life into the franchise and will go down as one of the best games the franchise has ever produced.
As a fan of adventure games I can't help but feel like Randal's Monday has rather missed the point.
Pure Pool does just enough to be worth purchasing for fans of Pool but its shortcomings stop it from becoming a real leader in the cue sports genre overall.
Overall: if you're a fan of the 'Souls' games and you're wondering what to do before FromSoftware's next offering, then Lords of the Fallen is, despite its flaws, definitely worth a go.
Grand Theft Auto 5 for the PS4 and Xbox One really is the best way to play, and I definitely think if you are new to the series, or you are a veteran and played GTA 5 on old consoles, this is definitely worth your time and money.
