Despite its strengths, Liberté does have a bit of a learning curve, especially for those who are new to the deck-building genre. However, the tutorial is really easy to follow and the difficulty increases gradually, which makes it easy for both newbies and experienced players to get into the game. In a nutshell, Liberté is an awesome deck-builder roguelite that takes you on a thrilling journey through the French Revolution.
Loop8: Summer of Gods is clearly too ambitious for its own good. It had all the great ideas of what could have been a revolutionary experience pushing the boundaries of a new genre of gaming, but it ended up butchering the execution on all fronts.
The Valiant is inspired by the classics, but also fails to live up to those lofty heights.
“Corruption 2029 has it’s moments, but ultimately fails to live up the quality of Mutant Year Zero”
Red's Kingdom boasts a fun and cute aesthetic, but the gameplay on the Switch proves immensely frustrating. The game is better served as a small-doses adventure on mobile.
If you’re a big enough fan to still excuse what I’ve encountered and play what’s fun in the game, go right ahead. But for those new or not too crazy for the Need For Speed franchise, it’s worth holding off until the mess is cleaned up.
It's a very random game which I like, I also think that anything over $9.99 is over priced. As you move on in the game you start to wonder why you are playing it and if there is even a point because there obviously isn't anyone to play with or a proper story.
EA Sports NHL 24 comes with new gameplay systems that bring new flavor to the game, but what holds it back is the lack of attention to its fan-favorite game modes.
If you’re craving a circus-themed horror-lite game that doesn’t break the bank, then Reveil might be your cup of tea. You can snag it for a discounted price of $17.99 right now until March 13. Reveil is an experience that doesn’t leave a very strong impression, but that doesn’t make it not worth your time. Just tailor your expectations right to the lack of originality and technical shortcomings this game suffers from.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition embarks on an ambitious yet flawed Souls-Like journey. While the engaging combat system, captivating RPG elements, and impressive aesthetics shine through, they are hindered by a lack of difficulty balance, a rushed narrative conclusion, and notable technical issues. It is imperative for the developers to address these performance issues promptly, elevating the game to the standard expected with its price tag and ensuring a more enjoyable and stable experience for players eager to immerse themselves in the world of Wo Long.
Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs: The Thrilling Steamy Maze Kiwami is a game that caters to a specific audience. It is a game that offers a lot of fanservice, humor, and adventure, but also a lot of controversy, censorship, and simplicity. It is a game that might not be suitable for everyone, but it is a game that delivers what it promises. It is a game that is worth trying, if you are a fan of the series.
Bear and Breakfast is a cozy management simulator that has you playing as a cute bear running a B&B, but that’s about it. It seems almost like the developers learned nothing from the reception of the PC and Switch port of the game a year ago, which suffered from the same issues. I really wanted to like this game, given the delightful visuals and charming characters, but the lack of polish and unintuitive controls on the PlayStation 5 make it a hard game to recommend.
Life of Delta doesn’t overstay its welcome and has nice puzzle variety, but you are often wondering what your goal is.
Overall, Super Catboy is a fun and engaging 90s 16-bit platformer that allows you to be the badass cat you’ve always wanted to be. At times the game can become repetitive making you want to take breaks in between, but for its price at $9.99 on Steam it’s worth the shot for anyone into 2D platformers.
Despite some of the games issues, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake gives you a unique SpongeBob experience we have yet to see.
Emily Wants to Play, but she doesn't play to the best of her abilities on Xbox One.
NASCAR: Heat Evolution lacks a few features, but also has some upside.
For a $49.99 game, it does not deliver. A short underwhelming story with no replay-ability and forgettable characters will leave you wishing you'd spent that money elsewhere. My advice: wait until the price drops if you are considering getting it.
Carmageddon Max Damage would have made an incredible Sega Dreamcast title
If you’re into checking out new and unusual takes on games, then Cuphead is for you. I’d temper your enthusiasm, however, as that’s where the uniqueness ends. It’s an average, 2D hand-drawn game that it seems people are expecting way too much of.
