Mushroom 11 is a uniquely engaging puzzle game that will hook you from go!
Despite some original ideas and a wealth of content, CastleStorm chokes on it's own ambition by lacking the follow through necessary to truly stand out. It is an incredibly boring yet unique game.
A "difficult" action RPG recommended to fans of Dark Souls or people looking for a challenge. It improves the connectivity issues of it's predecessor. May leave Demon Souls vets in the mud with some of it's new mechanics.
For Many Gamers, This Will be the Best $15 You Spend All Year
Bound by Flame won't set the world on fire, but it's decent fun if you enjoy linear, dialog-heavy
Overall, the game is a solid example of the genre, and fans of the series certainly won't be disappointed.
Respawn Entertainment revamps the online multiplayer FPS game with their release, Titanfall.
I would highly recommend this game for kids or for the kid in all of us. It is super fun, cute, and reasonably priced. It is not the most robust shooter by far but is one of the most fun shooters I have played in a while.
At then end of the day, Lightning Returns is a decent game. It is worth the price and is worth the play to finally get some closure on this time travelling adventure and put an end to the world of FF XIII. There is plenty of extra content to keep you busy but if you're like me, then just finishing the story will be worth it alone.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is a stunning game that changes my mind on MMORPGs
A game best played on mute.
"In Harm's Way" is even more brutal and violent than the season premiere, but Telltale manages to hold it together.
Though Bound By Flame is an interesting game, it felt lacking. A little more could have made this game one of the best.
It is light on story, heavy on action and stealth, but redeems itself with a fantastic ending and backstory-filled cassette tapes. Yes, cassette tapes. It is 1975, after all.
Transistor is just one of those games that you have to play. I couldn't cover everything because that would ruin the experience; and believe me, you want that experience. While no game can truly live up to insane amounts of hype, this game comes pretty close. Every aspect blends almost perfectly into the style and story.
Wolfenstein returns beautifully bringing an even more fun way of killing Nazis for revenge than any other shooter involving the Reich.
MachineGames combines old with new in an homage to 90's shooters that carries both gibs and heart.
Watch Dogs is a fantastic entry in the free roam genre. Not without areas to improve, Watch Dogs is a unique base that Ubisoft will build a new franchise on.
The Wolf Among Us unsurprisingly remains top-notch from beginning to end of its penultimate episode of the season, but minor hiccups prevent In Sheep's Clothing from rising to the top.
Tropico 5 really wants you to win the hearts of your people as dictator. Well, maybe a little.
