The Medium has very few jump scares and it's not about killing a bunch of monsters and then moving on to the next. It's deeper and more intimate, with notable imagery and symbolism subtly presented to the player along the way.
Kinetic Edge is a basic experience that does not rise to the top of the “gauntlet” style of titles currently out there in the market.
Overall Littlewood is great game in the farming/town-building/simulation genre. It stands on its own in a genre that is chock full of similar games.
The search for Paradise is without question a beautiful one, both visually and narrative-wise, but that’s not to say it doesn’t hit rough patches along the way.
If you are even remotely interested in having a fun, engaging experience, dust off your Switch and prepare yourself. Monster Hunter Rise is an adventure that will sink its fangs in deep and not soon let go.
Overall, Monster Train is a great experience and is extremely well-polished and balanced.
Narita Boy fully succeeds in being a great homage to pixel titles of the past yet brings so many great modern features with it.
