Blacktail is one of the most unexpected, original and atmospheric games not only of December, but of the entire outgoing year. Of course, the authors still lack experience and skill, but they approached the concept of an adventure about the young Baba Yaga with soul and scope.
Harmony's Odyssey is a wonderful, whimsical adventure game ripe with a handful of puzzle types. With well over 100 puzzles, plus mini-games and an arcade mode, there's plenty to do for the price tag. If jigsaw and "find the differences" puzzle-type games aren't your thing then unfortunately Harmony's Odyssey won't turn you around and make you a fan. It's aimed at a specific type of gamer and what it does, it does well!
Space Academy is a frivolous and cheeky new addition to the Two Point Campus experience. If you love management sims and want something a bit more out there than dinosaurs and school yards then this is a DLC for you
At first glance, Floodland isn't 't the most complex, especially when looking at previous creations from developers of games like Frostpunk. However, it has a distinct and detailed aesthetic that grabs one's attention. Small figurines of people running around gathering resources or sleeping under the stars. it was a pleasure to follow, while the details of the various ruined buildings or rusty towers gave a nice feel to the game's atmosphere and past. If you are a lover of survival sims, Floodland is for you.
Overall, Gotham Knights plays very well on the PC, once you figure your Steam settings. Playing as the Knights instead of Batman is a change for this style of game based in Gotham.
A Plague Tale: Requiem impressed with the time I was able to spend with her. It's clear that Asobo is working on fixing the biggest flaws in 2019's A Plague Tale: Innocence. This improved the quality of movement and resource management, expanded Amicia and Hugo's skill sets, and expanded the levels to encourage more creative interaction with your surroundings.
A Sublime mix of movement and combat that somehow manages unrelenting action with skillful play, all while looking effortlessly brilliant. You need to get your skates on and try your luck in Rollerdrome.
A Grade A return to a solidly high achieving franchise. Two Point Campus has plenty of silly SATS and delightful moments without upending the core of what makes the Two Point experience so easy to enjoy.
Endling: Extinction is Forever is a tech-savvy game built around well-built gameplay. The repetitive process of hunting for survival and exploring whenever possible seems intentional and draws the player into this world. There are no ordinary moments in this wild nature, and any moments of routine or boredom quickly end with a bear trap or an encounter with a Scavenger. Endling knows what he wants to achieve and doesn't try to overdo it or over complicate it. Every choice matters to the designers, as well as to you when you're trying to survive and feed your puppies.
Thanks to its ability to constantly cut the ground from under its feet, As Dusk Falls does not turn into a run-of-the-mill narrative that we will forget in an hour. Instead, the game leaves its mark on us, the sad but understandable problems of its characters casting a long shadow. And it certainly won't get out of my head for a long time, making me think what if I did one way or another.
The game features dynamic gameplay, beautiful artwork, and challenging levels. It's fun to play, although it can sometimes be a little frustrating and feel a little unfair. But overall, it's a fun game; you should play it and try it out for yourself. But what I can say for sure is that the music and drive will make you tap your feet.
These issues barely even touch on some of the very manual control systems used for troop deployment and the hit or miss mechanics of attacking enemy troops. Frozenheim has a huge amount going for it and manages to touch on a number of ideas that do, largely, work. It just needs a little more time to the in game combat, but there is a great game in out there on the open plains just waiting for Odin’s blessing.
Everything is for Humanity took many pieces from successful horror games, Everything Is For Humanity is far from the best first-person dating game in this genre. The game doesn't have the best use of horror, and by far the best animations it breaks the atmosphere. The game does not provide memorable moments that you will remember when it comes to the scariest game you have ever played...
It’s not perfect quite yet. Tthe UI systems could use more consistency across the board and the opening moments are truly intimidating. However, once you let go of your own expectations and just enjoy the ride this unusual art MMO will pull you back in when you’re ready to escape the day in a different way.
Once you become engaged in a fight the camera locks into one place until you leave the area that you are in. But as soon as you are under attack again it locks in. This makes for some difficult gameplay trying to figure out where everyone is.
Despite the fact that Hardspace: Shipbreaker can be called a high-quality and unusual project, it is quite difficult to recommend it to everyone and everyone. This is a very peculiar simulator for diligent, it takes time before you start to get any pleasure from it. But if you really like projects that reward meticulousness and glorify the simple work of ordinary people, then you will certainly like Hardspace: Shipbreaker.
Overall, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge hits on all cylinders as one of the top TMNT games I have ever played. It mixes nostalgia and new playability nicely. Regular price for this title is 24.99 USD. Not a bad price for how much is in this game.
A fantastic new addition to a game that nails the landing. OlliOlli World's Void Riders DLC pushes the envelope jsut a little, without loosing any of the charm and delight that make the core game one of our favorite's of this year. time to All Hail Nebulord!
If you're a fan of puzzle shooters, you can't go wrong with Soda Crisis. The game does just fine.
Overall, Spacelines from the Far Out is a great title whether it is played with someone or by yourself. The game has lots of customizations for your very own space liner ferrying people from one place to another. You can purchase the title on Steam and on the Epic store as well. At the time of writing the price was not shown. If you want to have a nice relaxing time this is a good game for you.
