8.6 / 10.0 - For Honor
Mar 7, 2017

For Honor is a game that requires a lot of practice and patience. But those willing to invest the time and dedication the game requires will find one of the best multiplayer games of the year.

7.5 / 10.0 - Reigns
Jan 12, 2017

I blame Reigns for its mistakes. Its repetition, its maybe too hidden story behind random cards and a choice system maybe not as exploited as it deserved. But I don't blame it for being short. Reigns may not be a very polished experience but is a unique one, and that's worth more than the money it costs.

Seasons After Fall is the classic case of a "game that is" vs "a game that wants to be".

8.8 / 10.0 - FIFA 17
Oct 19, 2016

Even when FIFA 17 doesn't come with a great change, it achieves to expand its own variety with a new and fresh mode that not only invites us to observe a re-invention on the series, but also leaves us with one of the most complete and polished titles of the franchise.

8.8 / 10.0 - Madden NFL 17
Oct 3, 2016

Even when the franchise has a long way to go, Madden NFL 17 is, without a doubt, a step in the right direction as the game presents us with one of the most complex and diverse sports games out there.

VA-11 Hall-A offers no challenge. Its not a game you will remember for its controls or its multiplayer, but you will remember the experience, and if you ask me. That's worth it.

7.5 / 10.0 - Enter the Gungeon
Jun 11, 2016

I love action movies. Not all of them, but the good action movies. Those that are simple, but intense; hat have so much charisma that one manages to connect within a few minutes of seeing them. And it's weird, because one would expect the same to be said about those games labeled as "action": those centered on spectacle, in taking us to past wars, future wars and other less important wars. Nonetheless, that hasn't happened to me in some time. In fact, the only that those famous titles have to show are... weapons.

Being one of the most fun and charismatic games of its genre, Overwatch presents us a lot of possibilities with a gameplay that is both fresh and vibrant.

8.2 / 10.0 - Stardew Valley
Apr 22, 2016

Simply by saying to grow a farm brings to the mind of the most experimented in the media the same thought: This is Harvest Moon. And in the search to get rid of early comparisons I have to agree with popular opinion: Yes, this is Harvest Moon. Its creator, Eric Barone, had the vision from the start to make an "Indie clone of Harvest Moon". Nonetheless, the fact that it is made up of its bases does not make it derivative nor it dilutes its concept. Actually, the notion of growing a farm and at the same time building up relations with the rest of the town still exists, but the treatment is different.

7.6 / 10.0 - Downwell
Feb 25, 2016

Downwell is not a highly complex game nor it it contains any moral dilemma to resolve, but the charisma of its world, the ease with which it presents its controls and its tiny but constant challenges presents us with a role model for the current roguelike and arcade.

6.9 / 10.0 - Pulse
Nov 28, 2015

As an experience Pulse its really interesting, but at the end the game feels more as an unfinished concept than a finished game.
