F1 2019 is a rare occasion where a game can look and feel the same, but do enough to put it over the top.
F1 2021 once again shows that the best games can still find ways to improve to stay at the top of racing genre.
As the final F1 game of the generation, F1 2020 goes out with a bang, making it a must play for anyone, racing fan or not.
I was impressed with Forza Horizon 3. I have played every version of Forza since Motorsport 2. Every time a new Forza game comes out, it am confused by how amazing they are. If you compare Horizon 1 to Horizon 3, the games are so different. But if Horizon 2 and Horizon 3 are compared, the setting is the only major difference. Still, Playground Games managed to make an amazing game that makes up for it's lack of improvements with stunning visual features.
I'm not saying you will get 50 hours of gameplay from Party Golf. I'm not saying it's a technical marvel. But it is the perfect title for a change of pace, and it is very addictive and competitive. But most importantly it nails the most crucial aspect of being a game; it is so much fun.
MLB The Show 17 is a great installment, and no matter how long it's been since you last picked up The Show — even if you still play The Show 16 — this game is worth the pick up.
Improving over the 17 version wasn't an easy feat, but the devs did it. Hats off.
Madden 18 is a game that finally shows fans what the developers can do when harnessing the full power of the current generation of consoles.
In the end, 2K manages to innovate their most popular mode with the addition of The Neighborhood. It has a lot of potential and refines a lot of minor issues the game had like faster load times and now being able to see who your opponent is user controlling.
F1 2017 isn't a game without flaws. An extremely steep learning curve and graphical hiccups during intense racing moments can push players away from what is otherwise an incredible game. Still, with a variety of gameplay options and the deepest career mode a racing sim has ever seen, there's no doubt that F1 2017 is the best in the history of the series.
It's fun and accessible enough that anyone can just pick it up and enjoy it while deep enough to keep even the biggest baseball purist entertained. When it's all said and done, Super Mega Baseball 2 could go down as the best baseball title of this generation of gaming.
The game makes the necessary adjustments to huge flaws from the previous year, with nice additions added in that keeps the 2K machine going as the Top Simulation Basketball Game on the market.
F1 2018 is a game that once again shows why it's one of the best racing titles on the market. From a fun and deep career mode to an excellent on-track experience, it's everything that a racing fan would want in a video game.
All in all FIFA 19 is once again the most complete soccer game on the market today with tons of game modes and things to keep even the most hardcore soccer fanatics busy for hundreds of hours.
If I had to pick one word to describe this game it is….smashing.
The Golf Club 2019 presents a good challenge for new and experienced players alike, and does a nice job of making you feel like you've accomplished something anytime you pull off a successful round or tournament.

No matter which way you spin in, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 is an excellent remake from top to bottom. The levels look great, the soundtrack is nostalgic yet modern, and the gameplay brings you back to sitting on your living room floor late at night playing with friends.
NBA 2K22 is a game that has something for everyone to enjoy, and brings back memories of the game’s glory years. It’s a shining example of how sports games on the PS5 and Xbox Series X should be.
Football Manager 2022 is a strategy game that continues to improve with more in-depth features that helps you succeed on the virtual pitch. The new Data Hub brings a more profound analysis system to the game that helps you pick the best line-ups on match day. The endless hours of tinkering with my club’s tactics, transfers, squad, and staff have yielded meaningful results in my club’s progression. And I still have many hours of fun ahead of me with one of the best sports simulators.
