Master Chief returns to Xbox with an amazing soundtrack and enough tweaks to rekindle any Halo fan's love of the series. While the ports of Halo 3 and 4 suffer ever so slightly, Halo 2 makes up for those dips in performance tenfold.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild revitalises and redefines not just the Zelda series itself, or Nintendo games in general, but the entire action-adventure genre. It's the most astonishing curtain call for the Wii U, a console that arguably doesn't deserve to go out on such a high note. Dragon Age: Inquisition presents a content rich world with a whole facet of interesting and deep characters. It's a worth addition to any RPG fan's collection and a gorgeous sight to behold.

As a title, Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is polished. It might not always get everything right, but when it does, it does it pretty damn well. When it comes down to it, Dark Souls 3 is an amalgamation of everything that came before it. If the framerate issues are fixed with an update, this is easily the best Dark Souls game yet.
